MaximumBunny: ...
Just wanted to say that. And in addition, there are people who will quite literally make a use of anything that allows them to get working keys - like, for example, when keys for Natural Selection 2 leaked, these resellers jumped right at the opportunity and cost an indie dev a fair share of money.

Big_Boss: Yes but why Steam said that G2play is not legit?
Maybe thei keys are stolen?
Edit: Sorry, wasn't aware that this thread just got necroed. I thought it was fresh. So just ignore. :P

There's many legit ways to acquire games comparably cheap as an individual. You can get them cheaper in a certain region, during a sale, many games are cheaper in retail than on Steam etc. (despite being redeemable on Steam). Some parties acquire games in large numbers this way and then resell them, making a profit. Obviously the publishers and distributors don't like this, though, because ultimately they get a smaller cut. So the terms of service of video games usually prohibit this kind of reselling and that's why services like G2play are considered scammers.

The exception would be of course if such a company has a deal with the corresponding publisher which I think is almost never the case and is nearly impossible to find out without contacting the publisher (unless the publisher has already delivered a public statement on it, of course, like Devolver Digital recently on G2A).

The fact that GOG has no regional pricing and retail games (with very few exceptions) aren't redeemable on here is probably one of the main reasons why these resellers never seem to sell GOG keys.

Big_Boss: Is www.kinguin.net a legit site?
They have Bioshock Infinite for 19€, and many other games at a very low price...but I doubt they can sell these keys or not.
The site seems like an Ebay, only selling key.
Kinguin is another site by G2Play.

The difference is that on Kinguin they let other sellers sell through them marketplace style - on g2play they just sell their own keys.

God knows where the smaller sellers get their key from on Kinguin, but supposedly G2Play keys are legit. Atleast i havent heard any complaining about them on any forum i read for long time. But even then, its sort of grey area i suppose:

I think they get their keys from the game boxes of cheaper countries and aim to sell on western markets cheaper. Steam etc ofcourse dont like it, but nor do many people like their 59,99€ price tags that seem to be more and more common these days.

edit: oh, bit old this post.

Well, it's the same person who necros every single one of these 'is [insert website] legit' threads. He has to be searching for threads where he can give the same piece of copy pasta advice.

Too many people reported it as spam, and GOG deleted it?
