I'm pretty sure you can't verify burns with chkdsk... verification involves comparing it with the image file.
If it's an image file ok, but I thought he meant he had an exe installer. I just brun those using windows burn utility and then run the exe on the disc to see if it starts.
No matter what kind of file you're burning, an image is made and then that is burned. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Why clutter up your pc with a bunch of utilities and crap anyways? I tend to try to consolidate the programs I use to a small number to keep conflicts and disk space usage down.....and keep the desktop/start menu neat and clean. :)
Well, ImgBurn is only one program and it's the only one I use for burning... I'd hardly call that clutter. :P
