Carl_Ulfric: Non Aussie here. The app is also saying that I'm offline when I am clearly not. I'm from the Philippines. I have reported this and have existing ticket. They haven't gave any definitive answer so far. This is seriously a bad experience for me. I have only used Steam in the past and thought of buying Cyberpunk 2077 on their very own platform to support the devs. But now, here I go doubting if I made the right choice.
I can still access and download my games offline installers through the web browser. That's a plus of being DRM free. Galaxy surely makes things easier and adds auto-updates, overlay, chat, cloud saves etc... but it's optional even most multiplayer games work without the Galaxy client. Anyway, you could also try to downgrade to Galaxy client v1.2 and disable auto-update for now, if it works for you without a VPN.

I hope that could be of help to you.
