I have your report file, anyway, I would like to see how does the GOG Downloader window look like. Could you make a screen shot please?

slow.rexy: Something is seriously wrong with this version. I tried to install it on my other pc which also has windows xp sp2 32-bit installed and it gets stuck on the end of the installation.

Here is the picture:
The "Microsoft Windows" seems to be installing .NET 3.5.

Fallen_Zen: If anyone would like to help us test the newest version of the Mac Downloader, please download this zip file and replace the previous version with the one inside it: http://static.gog.com/download/d3/mac-stable/GOG_Downloader_1.2_397_beta.zip

We've fixed few bugs and problems, mainly with downloading bonus content bigger than 2GB (this is only related to the RedKit from The Witcher 2 bonuses).
Hi,
tried the beta, but unfortunately it still doesn't work. Now it is downloading and then suddenly says "Download complete" (which is impossible because I am currently downloading at 1.2 MB/s and the download took only a couple of minutes). As expected the resulting zip is corrupted (doesn't show any contents and asks for a password).
Sorry for the bad news. If you need the log file please let me know and I'll send it asap.

Update: Started again and now it seems to be downloading. The difference to my first try is that on my first try I paused the download and continued. This time it is running without a pause inbetween?!?
Will report if the the download is successfull.

It will only work if added to the queue again. If the RedKit was added with a previous version its data from the API will be still incorrect. Let me know if by adding it again it downloaded without problems. Thank you!

Hi,
I had added it to the queue again. Now with my second try, all went fine until 2,5 GB (the file size on disk was exactly the same), then I paused and started the download two or three times and the file was suddenly sized 5,78GB. Here is what the log says:

Seems, the starting byte suddenly increases from 2621440000 to 4708106240, if I interpret the log entry the right way.
Tomorrow morning I can try to download the full file without pausing (should have a little bit higher download speed than)
Thanks for all your help

Hi, Just wanted to say that i just downloaded the launcher and waited for over an hour to get the installation of the setup to work and it just sits at 100% and comes up with a very long wait for it to configure it self and then nothing not done, i had to task manager the setup to get it to finally say done complete and then it error ed out.

also if you dont have the downloader and you click download with program the web page crashes on the link that you click when it should be active.
just installed the lastest update (3.5.8), but still the same problem. The downloader is still unable to connect. Damn it, prior to 3.5.7 update, downloader was working perfectly fine.

Turn the GOG Downloader off. Hit CTRL+R, type regedit.ext and hit enter. Go to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GOG.com and remove the Secret and Token keys (right click on it and click Delete). Turn the GOG Downloader on.
The login window should appear.

The MM6/7/8/9 OSTs have been renamed/updated, but the problem with the download verification still exists.

I followed your instructions, see in attached file the keys that I found. Which ones should I delete?

There are no keys responsible for logging you in. Are you using any AV / Firewall software? Please make sure the GOG Downloader is added to the exceptions list.

I'm using the Windows Firewall, I've already added GOG Downloader to the exceptions list. Same problem, will not connect. I'm desperate about finding a solution.
