UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.

Want more games? We've got more games! Three new titles are now available through GOG Connect:

- Kona
- Defender's Quest
- Door Kickers

You can get them until June 13, 1:59 PM UTC.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

Whether you're checking us out for the first time or have been with us for a while, GOG Connect gets you DRM-free versions of your games, digital extras, and a whole lot of freedom of choice (like whether you go with the GOG Galaxy client or not). It gets you our take on game ownership, and we say: why buy the games more than once?

Thanks to our awesome partners including Deep Silver, Harebrained Schemes, Jonathan Blow's Number None, TaleWorlds and more, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

The full list of games will always be available on connect.gog.com, starting with these and more:

- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

While GOG Connect will stick around, the available games will come and go. These are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned as we bring new titles onboard in the future (and grab your copies before they go away)!

For a bit more library-building, a bunch of our favorite titles will also be discounted up to -85% all week long, including The Witness, Saints Row: The Third, System Shock 2 and more. You can check out all the deals here. The sale will last until June 6, 12:59 PM UTC.
I'm so sad. I just realized that I messed up.

I connected gog.com to steam and the games showed up. I was happy that I had imported them all. Yay!
Only I hadn't imported them :( Obviously I missed some step :(

Just wanted to share my story so that the UI can be improved!

But Connect has probably been very demanding on support, and the summer sale is busy enough as it is, so I wouldn't be surprised if the next set of Connect games is deferred until after the sale ends.
While I can understand this, I'm actually disappointed that no blue text came back in here to address the various issues of people being stack in the queue and watching the deadlines expire, and no games being added to their libraries.

Anyone in this situation that contacted support? What did they say?

Sorry. Yeah, it's kind of silly. After you connect the accounts and it finds qualifying games, you then have to click another button to add them. Who would bother to connect accounts to not then get the freebies?

PainOfSalvation: Current 3 game offers expired in 33 minutes. Now lets just wait and see what happens. :P

Pheace: Result, no games at all :)
Still none today either

Agree with the above that I'm not expecting any new ones to be added during the sale. The point is to attract attention to the site. That was a good thing to do right before the sale and then drop it on everyone. During the sale it's pointless. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't bother dropping any during the Steam sale after that either, though they might depending on their plans.

Contacted them on the 9th, still no response. It was the start of the sale so I guess they're too busy with that?

I can see why they're looking for a community specialist. Hey, you should apply. Then your text colour would go with your eye :)
I have now missed two sets of games, despite the fact that I connected my accounts the first day I possibly could. This feels like a major bait and switch, and I will be not buying anything from GOG until it is fixed.

Don't expect to see new games added every week, it's a marketing strategy, not a giveaway. I don't know the deal with Steam, but if they provide too much games to importe, people will continue to buy and play their games on Steam with the hope to have a free drm-free backup on GOG. Not the best image for GOG !

Steam isn't involved, it's a deal between GOG and the publishers. GOG uses only the steam-api to check if someone is legitimate to get the gog version for free, nothing more. But yes, it's marketing and after the first run is now finished gog and the publishers will check the data and see how well they done, which means how many new customers and good press they got. I also expect another run, but not right now. Maybe later, when it's ore quite and they can get as much as attention as possible.

Haha, that would be neat, wouldn't it? Alas, I don't speak 4chan...

I'm sorry if this is somewhere in the thread and I haven't read it.

How long is the window to claim steam games? It seems to be pretty short, but what is the official length?

Claim what games?
There aren't any at the moment.

There were two batches of games up, each for 5 days, IIRC. But they've both expired, so currently there are no games to claim at the moment. I assume there will be an announcement in the OP of this thread when the next batch goes live, but we speculate it won't be before the summer sale is over. Either way, you may want to check the GOG Connect page from time to time.

So far it's been 5 days but all the deals that were up expired by now.
