This is a test. Stay calm and buy game series bundles.

Let's try something new. We know that GOG.com users love to have complete collections of game series on their shelves. There's nothing nicer than a row of virtual boxes containing every single game from a series that you hold dear. We appreciate the completionist approach--after all we try our best to have a complete collection of the best games in history in our offer (and we'll never stop following that goal). So, we thought that we might as well make completing a whole game series on GOG.com easier and more rewarding. Introducing: Game Series Bundles on GOG.com!

We offer you the chance to get various complete game series with a 15% up to 55% off discount. If a game belongs to such series, you will find a new button on the game page, which lets you buy a bundle that includes the whole series instead of a single title. It will also display how much you'll save on that deal. If you already own a game from that series, you can still complete the bundle, getting the missing games with the discount. The discount rate is flat, only applies when you get the whole bundle, and varies from series to series.

Just go to any game from the series that grabs your attention to find the new "buy series" button right under the regular "add to cart" button. Once you click it, the games you're missing from the series (whether it's all of them or even just one) will be added to your shopping cart with a discount applied.

Please keep in mind--this is something we're just testing now. If it turns out that this sort of deal is popular with you and that it makes sense for us, we'll keep the Game Series Bundles as a permanent site feature and work towards adding more of them to our offer. For the time being, you get the bundle deals on all the series mentioned below:

Sophia: I can't believe it... I had already completed just about every single one of these bundles! I better not tell my husband where our money has been going every month... :P
Your secret is safe with us. ;-)
This is a great feature! No other digital distributor does bundle as well as GOG.com... I already own every game in those bundles I'm interested in, but would definitely throw in my support if this becomes a permanent feature.

hedwards: So, if you own say The Seventh Guest, you don't get any benefit at all and don't even have the option of bundle buying? It does make some sense, but I'm not sure that bundles of 2 are really all that bundalicious.

JMich: If you own The 7th Guest, the 11th hour gets the bundle discount all by itself, since you are completing the bundle. Has been pointed out before, it's the "Buy Bundle" that's missing though. Discount will be properly applied once the item is in your cart.
I must have misread that. Still, that's something that should be changed as I'm sure folks wouldn't realize that's the case.
Very good idea...

sadly none of the games there are of any interest to me :(
Best thing every :D. I wished you already added it before :P
great idea
Mmm, tempting. Dreamfall, the Runaway series, and 11th hour just got a tad more interesting. I might want to wait a bit for dreamfall so I can play it closer to the release of Dreamfall Chapters though (Dreamfall chapters!!!!)
Already have Still Life (thanks to a GOG.com gifter!), but when I go to their game pages, the first doesn't show anything but the "game owned" box, and Still Life 2 shows the bundle "with 2 games". From the wording...

Once you click it, the games you're missing from the series (whether it's all of them or even just one) will be added to your shopping cart with a discount applied.

...this doesn't seem correct.

EDIT: Wait, it's because Post Mortem is part of the bundle!? (sorry, only noticed the first page of posts when this was typed up).

Regardless, this is a cool deal, in general. Like those game collections on disc!

It would be great to see original Journeyman Project in self bundle.

Great, you can label this wish as completed. Even when I spelled permanent wrong.
Where this will ready do well is when new games are added to the catalog within a series. So if you have the other games the new one with be at a discount on release.

The discount should try to be closer to the sale prices though, 30-40% ish for the bigger series. Especially because the newer sales don't require that you buy all the games.
I already own Simon the Sorcerer. When looking at Simon the Sorcerer I'm not offered to complete the series, but when looking at Simon the Sorcerer 2 I am. This should be fixed.
Finally.

Bring them to more series though please. It should be a standard thing IMO. They should have their own store pages and prices, like Steam does.
Its a great idea!
This way we wont have to choose just 1 or 2 games, the entire saga would have a nice price!
So cool too the fact that if u own 1 of the series games, u still get the discount for the rest.
I definitely support this bundle idea, and I hope u expand this to many other games.

Except that it isn't permanent just yet. From the announcement:
