I'm a French gamer, and I play since i'm a kid (amstrad!).
I discovered GoG (beta) thanks to Canard PC, an independent PC magazine here in France.
So I've bought some oldies, Vampire The Masquerade, Divine Divinity and Duke Nukem.
My favorites games are Fallout, Vampire The Masquerade, S.T.A.L.K.E.R series, IceWind Dale/Baldur's gate and the Total War series.
I hope to see Blood Omen released on this website; like Divine Divinity this game did fascinate me since I was a teenager.

Hi! I've been using computers since I was four, and when I was six, I started playing video games. Recently, I've become more than just a gamer. Call me a gaming enthusiast, if you will. I play, collect, and have knowledge of some obscure series.

And now, I've discovered this wonderful computer game heaven on the Internet! I was surprised, as I previously figured computer games just get forgotten by newer OSes and then by time.

I try not to let myself be defined by any one genre. If a game intrigues me, I try it, no matter what genre. Also, I hold a firm belief that graphics are important, but aren't the most important quality a game can have.

So, yeah. That's who I am.

Recently, I have been getting back into video gaming after a long period when I didn't play at all. So I have just discovered Steam and now Gog! I am really impressed by the selection of games here, I hope it'll keep growing.
My first buys will probably be The Witcher when it comes out, I've read some good about it and the price is really tempting ;), and Gabriel Knight 2, which I own on Cd-rom, but it was such a great adventure game with a strong story that I want to replay it with the convenience of the Gog version.

There are random contests to always be on the lookout for for free games, and sometimes people just give you stuff for no particular reason.

Oh, and Fantasysci5, you look like this one actress, though I can't think of her name, but a cute girl who games is okay in my book.

hello I am phenom_x8 from Indonesia! Its very difficult to find original PC game here in my country with affordable price (that's why piracy quite rampant here, expensive rare original game) , but thanks to GOG all of this problem solved and I am glad to be part of community that fight against piracy by doing something (by buying original game) like here!

The game actually traumatized me for some time, but I was 3 years old when I played the first time. So I don't know if it will scare you.
