I am all_zebest, a French man living in Japan (excuse my bad English btw). I experienced the first video games (Asteroid, Pong etc.) and therefore can be called an old gamer, even if I don't play so much now. I am a retro console game collector too.
I particularly like shoot-them-ups, RPG (including hack-and-shashes), fighting games and puzzle games.
My favourite PC games are : the Diablo series, Hellgate London, Torchlight, the Dungeon Siege series, Din's Curse, the Gothic series, the Fallout series, R-Type, Skweek, Blade-Runner, Puzzle Quest...
On GOG, I bought Gorky 17 (some bugs should be fixed to fully enjoy it), Outcast (great game) and Two Worlds (I like it very much too).
Hope we can have interesting exchanges.

Hello, I'm from Upstate New York in the US. I'm working my way through older games that I started playing when I was younger but never really finished. Games I'm currently playing right now are the Doom series, Starcraft, Neverwinter Nights, Portal, Left 4 Dead, and Aliens Vs. Predator Gold. I also have Gamecube games.

I just bought Painkiller from GOG, but it keeps crashing. My thread is here if you have any ideas.

Incredible catalogue. You made me realize how much time I spent playing games... and actually how much time I'll spend to replay them. Now many things are explained.

Anyway nice to meet you all... nerd brotherhood. Which I'm proud to be a member :-)

Hello everyone. I'm Adzeth, a (lazy) math student from Finland, and I've been into gaming for as long as I can remember and then some. Though frankly what I believe to be my chronologically first memory was about me standing next to a potato field with a sandwich on my left hand and mud on my right, and wondering which one I just took a bite out of. Anyway, excluding that and any other straggling memories, I've been some sort of a gamer since times immemorial (to me). (I have a bad habit of straying off topic all on my own. Putting things in parentheses too.)
The games I feel the most influential to my early gaming days are the first Command & Conquer and Heroes of Might and Magic 2. I could probably write a whole book's worth about my gaming history and the emotions held within, so to summarize: A lot of games were played a lot.
Other than that, I learned my English mostly from games, and I'd like to think I'm Lawful Good.
I hope you'll accept me into your ranks in the GoG community, and may love/friendship bloom on the battlefield.

And as for your writing ect. As Stuff said its great. English is my first language thought i came out of the school system early and self taught alot, you overshadow me a bit :-P
