Hi. Jon from the UK (yes another one) 41 years old and been gaming for far too many years
I will be 53 next month o.O
I took out a loan for £400 to buy the BBC Model B on it's release. I took a week of 'sick' from work when Elite came out (I bought a disk drive just to play it).
I eventually bought an Atari ST and took a week off sick to play Sundog:Frozen Legacy.
I moved to the Amiga and took a week off sick to play Dungeon Master
Finally I got a Dx2 66Mhxz monster of a PC but didn't take any time off work until System shock came out.
Since then the biggest time drains have been the elder Scrolls series (except Oblivion) and for Christmas Dec 2006 I was given World of Warcraft. She should have just left me if she didn't want to see me again rather than passing me this crack.
I love the X universe and my favourite contemporary non WoW game is Evecheron Renegades, a stunning shareware space sim/game
My first downloads from here were kingpin and Fallout.
.

I'm a 24 year old graduate student from the US; this thread is making me feel like an infant.
So far, I've picked up Sacrifice and Freespace.
Hey, I think I'm one of the youngest around here...?
Marc from Germany, 22 years, and I'm studying law (so I need good games to relax from time to time :)).
I started in the middle of the 90s with some German classics like "Bundesliga Manager Professional", "Siedler 2 (The Settlers 2)" and "Theme Park". And now, that I wrote Theme Park I feel the inner desire to play it again.
Well, if I stay here I will propably get into serious trouble with my university because there won't be any time left to learn...
Hello. I'm Shai from Israel, and I remember myself as a gamer from pretty much age 3. Back then it was all about Dangerous Dave and Ancient Empires, but now I've learned to like almost all genres. I'm mainly a PC gamer but I also own a PS3.
I recently got released from the army in which I spent the last 3 years of my life. Right now I'm not doing much (unemployed), so that means I have plenty of time for games. :D
Hi, all.
My name is BoKeRoN, and I´m from Spain, so sorry about my poor english.
I´m playing games since my father put in front of an arcade version of Asteroids, so you can imagine how old I am. I played in almost every system that was available on Spain (Spectrum, Amiga, Atari ST, Nes, Master System, Super Nes, etc...), but I fell in love with simulators with Ocean´s YF-23 Retaliator and RPG's with Dark Earth of Uukrul. My all time favourite game is System Shock (1 & 2), I played the SS1 on the original Disk version, and I had to import SS2, since it never reached spanish stores.
I arrived to this page after a spanish "hardcore" PC website I usually read (Grupo 97). Due to the good opinion I have about CDprojekt's The Witcher (maybe the best RPG on the last decade), I signed for the beta without losing time.
I get here Fallout 2 (I enjoyed too much the first part), Descent 3 and Giants: citizen kabuto.
Hoping to see soon a vista-friendly System Shock 1 version (I only can play it with DosBox), Planescape:Torment and Microprose's forgotten piece of art Covert Action.
Hi there, i'm a 21-year-old student from France. My first contact with videogames was a NES Entertainment System with TMNT. I would consider myself as the typical console dude, but PC classics give me the thrills. :) I spent days and days on Sim City 2000, Theme Park, Diablo and Fallout series. Oviously my first downloads were for Fallout 1 & 2, which I already own, but I'm just too lazy to browse through my dusty CDs, install, patch, and so on. Next stage: Giants (a pure blast) and maybe Kingpin (heard from the game, never played though).
Hoorray for GOG, this site is a dream came true. :D
Hey gang,
I've been playing games since my Dad let me play with his commodore64 back when I was a kid. Now I'm just as obsessed as I was then. For those of you on the 360 my Tag is ShooterMcGavin3, let's play sometime.
My name is Scott. I live in Chicago and go to school here. I study film (cinematography; I want to be an AC on features, or cameraman on docs) here and recently started to collect classic game systems. So far I've got:
Atari 2600
Atari 7800
Sega Master System
NES
NES 2
Sega Genesis
SNES
Sega Saturn
Sega Game Gear
PSX
Sega Dreamcast
I'm looking for a Turbografx, Sega CD and Atari 5200 now. After that I might throw down the cash for a Turbo Duo or Neo Geo. We'll see.
I'm mostly a PC gamer though. Right now I spend most of my gaming time playing Team Fortress 2. Hit me up on Steam at www.steamcommunity.com/id/scawt
Also, I love Joanna Newsom. <3

Hello all,
My name is Jake and I am from Minnesota, where I am currently going to school. I started gaming when I got a NES for Christmas many years ago and haven't looked back since. I love both PC and Console gaming equally, as both have things that the other doesn't. As for games, I absolutely love the old Black Isle and Interplay stuff, such as Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate, and Fallout; but I am looking forward to finding many new games here that I can enjoy,
Hey, Stormtamer here, from Liverpool, England.
Been gaming since that fateful Christmas i was given a Commodore Amiga.
With my crappy memory i cant remember when that was, but seeing the first game i got with it was Batman: The Movie game, im guessing it was 1989 or sometime near.
Site is amazing, mentioned to me by a WoW/Gaming podcaster from WoW Radio named Totalbiscuit. He and everyone else in the WoW Radio community (myseld included) are hooked, and have already downloaded loads from the site, and its still only beta.
Need one of you guys interviewed on his gaming show, cos this site is fantasic, and a real service to PC gamers. Keep it up!
My first games were Fallout 1 and Sacrifice.
This is Foefaller, from the wonderful American Midwest and all it's crazy weather (temperature highs changing 20 degrees fairinheit within 3 days is not uncommon, especially this time of year). Been playing games since... '93 I think it was, when my dad bought a Super Nintendo for himself to play the first, last, and only game he has ever played by himself, much less beaten: The Legend of Zelda, a Link to to the Past. Based on the 30+ games I have for the SNES alone, along with a N64, Gamecube, Xbox, Wii and 360, I'd say I've had more experince with gaming than that :D
I even haven old NES I bought, wtih SMB3 and the orignal Final Fantasy to go with it.
Our family's first PC was around '97-'99 (it was a Pentium 266), and since then my status as a PC gamer vs. a console gamer has gone back and forth depending on how well my PC can handle newer games. Most of the games I hope to play are either ones that were beyond my computer's abilities at release, were before my time as a gamer, those I simply cannot find the disks anymore (please X-wing and TIE fighter *crosses fingers*), or games I missed out of blissful ignorance of thier awesomeness (horray for Fallout!)

Hi, my name is Richard, I am 18 and live in the UK. I am just about to go to university to study Biomedical Sciences.
My early days of gaming were playing on Megadrives, and then a PlayStation, but the first console I actually owned was a PS2. As I played consoles from the beginning it is my platform of choice, but GOG has given me the chance to play some classic games that I missed out on.
I just bought Freespace and plan on picking up Freespace 2 later on.
