I'm a gamer and college student from Raleigh, NC. I love this site and try to promote it any way I can!
I found GOG through the Descent community. Needless to say I now own [working] copies of Descent 1-3, and I continually hope more people will get Descent and learn to play (I go by "Swann" in-game, so give me a shout if you see me).
I am a musician (fancy that!) and play trumpet, piano, and guitar. I'm currently involved in the OC Remix community as a ska trumpet player and arranger for solo piano.
GOG is just so great. Finding a working copy of most/all of the games offered here was next-to-impossible before the site's creation. A huge THANK YOU to the creators/developers.

I didn't start gaming until sometime between 1998 and 2000 and that was only casual gaming
now for some reason i have a urge to go back and play the games i mssed out on.
I play pretty much anything no matter the genre but i do tend to favour RPGs and adventure games.

Hey, this thread is pretty cool! I've always ignored it, because I found introduction threads pointless. But reading the introductions of all these fresh, unsullied new members, full of enthusiasm, really gives me a warm fuzzy feeling :)

I find myself here in a n attempt to escape the drawbacks of modern games requiring online play and ultra restrictive drm. Thanks gog for this great alternative.

I haven't really ever done much in forums in the past but I really like the community here so I have been posting a bit the last couple days. Love the old games and actually got into the closed beta thing like right before it opened up to everyone.
Was super excited to be able to get Giants, and Sacrifice again. Both games were great and full of humor. Any way glad to be a part of this awesome community of good old games and the not necissairly old gamers that play them.
