Hello from Prince Edward Island, Canada!! I bought Syberia a couple of years ago and got hooked on the point and click adventure games. Being in the smallest Province in Canada there were not a lot of games to choose from. Then came GOG and I have access to great games at great prices. Thanks for the many hours spent playing great games. Now please get Grim Fandango!!!
Hi from the UK, lover of golden oldies. HardWar and Civilization 1 stand out as my all-time faves, and Super Probotector, Vigilante 8, Moraff's Dungeon are some more I like. Not much of a player these days anymore but nice to check out my youth!
Hi all

play tactical shooters, original rainbow and ofp1 and ArmA series, and old school racing games.
Hello, I'm a 50+ year young geezer gamer who cut his teeth playing the old AH classic Gettysburg 1964 that my mother bought me at age 12. From there I went on to PnP RPG's such as 1st edition Traveller (Still have the originals!), AD&D, and so on. My first computer game I played was Santa Paravia on a TRS-80.

I'm enjoying the classic games here--it's amazing how they still hold up after all these years--I guess there's a reason they're called classics! I probably enjoy Planescape Torment, the BG series, and the Fallout series the most, but I'm getting into Arcanum and I just bought Might and Magic. I also enjoy 4x games and look forward to renewing my acquaintanceship with MOO 1 and 2.

That's not to say I don't like modern games though. I like DA:O, and DA 2 had its moments. I also enjoy Mass Effect 1, 2, and 95% of ME 3 (We won't get into that] issue though!

In real life, I'm a history instructor at a community college and LOVE my job--few things jazz me more than teaching in front of classroom of (hopefully) eager students. Researching is all well and good, but for me, the real joy comes from the expression on a student's face when they get what you're telling them--that's when I know I've done my job.

Well, enough rambling--it's time to play games! Have fun, everyone!
Hello, Bethezer here. I live in Poland, in peaceful city of Tarnobrzeg. I am 21 years old and play games almost over a decade. Thanks to GOG I can play this titles that are not abailbe so easly... or just that old it's a pain to get them workin'. Thou I don't like mods for games - it's a bad habbit of mine. But I'm fighting with it.
I like, almost, all game types. cRPG, strategies, action-adventure, FPS, racing games. I don't like adventure point'n'click games. (Yes, I'm odd.) And honestly - I do not care that game is new or has been made years ago. Having fun it's all that matters.
So I think... this is it, right? Enought talking, time to play?
hello, john hughes here, not the film maker, just a normal man thats into movies, video games, boxing and martial arts. I bought my first game today off this site, legends of grimrock, love that you dont have to be online all the time, and if anyone plays strategy games like company of heroes (or any of the mods), or would like to start playing multiplayer never winter nights im down! also i enjoy private messaging people, so just message me and maybe we can play a game together
Hello guys and gals, you can call me AlbertCole. I'm a male student from Switzerland - cows, chocolate and banks, that's right. ;) I've started my career as gamer with a blue GameBoy Pocket. After I had bought my first own PC in 2002, I got really into gaming. My first RPG was Morrowind. Since then I stayed loyal to the genre. At the moment I'm playing Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (an outstanding game btw).

I really appreciate the classics and so my way led me here. :)

Sup everyone
I was recently introduced to gog by my dad (lol). And I love it! I was born in the 90. and I was brought up on all the classics like Duke Nukem 3d, Worms or Teenagent. It's wonderful I can finally play them again, as an adult.
Thank you guys, you are doing splendid work here! Cheers!
Just wanted to say hello to everyone at GOG and glad to be a part of the community.
Hi, I'm Pierre, from Bordeaux, France.
I joined GOG a year ago exactly today, and beside the 126 games I brought here (some that I still have to even download, admittedly), what I've found is a really nice community, so I'm really pleased to be here.
My favorite genres are RPGs and adventure games (I guess I like stories), some FPS are cool, I suck at most strategy games, and I'm getting too old for platformers.
I've been using Linux exclusively for 16 years now, and thankfully to Wine improvements most games (specially Good Old ones :) ) run just fine.
I'm involved in the PlayOnLinux project, and currently trying to script the installation of my games so that I can help people with the same tastes.

Long lives GOG!
Pierre.
Hello!

My name is David, I'm 29 years old. I've been a hardcore gamer ever since I got my first computer (Atari 65XE) at the age of 6. I love fast paced FPSes, strategy games and RPGs. I happen to believe that the original X-Com (or as I call it - UFO) and Fallout 2 represent a peak of human achievement in entertainment, but I also love what CD Projekt is doing with modern RPGs.

Cheers!
Hi... I'm a melon :D
Hi
I'm a loser.
Move along, please.
Hey everyone, been on GOG since early 2009 but I've never bothered to participate in the community until now.

Here's the rundown:
> Loves Valve
> Plays a lot of Team Fortress 2 and Garry's Mod
> Plays a mixture of old and new games
> Will play just about any game genre, hates most RTSes
> Watches a show about tiny horses for little girls
So is this about introducing yourself litirally?
