So - out of curiosity - where does your avatar come from?

MUNT is an emulator of Roland MT-32. For some pre-GM games (WC1&2, SQ, KQ, Red Baron) - it's the best option for quality music.

hello, just testing :D
Hello! I'm a 28 y.o. female, born and raised in Iowa, but recently moved to Texas. The first systems I can remember my family owning are the Atari and Intellivision, but I didn't really start gaming myself until the Nintendo came out. Parental disapproval was never an obstacle for my brother and me re: gaming. My mother always had fond memories of staying up all night playing Advanced Dungeons and Dragons with her sisters, and even my grandmother was an avid gamer!

Nor were we particularly sheltered in terms of content... the Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th movies gave me some pretty messed-up nighmares as a four-year-old, and let's just say that I didn't have to wait long after it came out before getting my hands on Phantasmagoria... Looking back, it seems rather odd, but I don't think the experiences did me any real harm. :-)

I'm a big fan of RPGs (both eastern and western), adventure games, 2D fighters, and to some extent, strategy and puzzle games, but I dabble in most genres. Dungeon Keeper is still one of my favorites, and probably always will be, along with Gabriel Knight (the first one, though I enjoyed all three), King's Quest VI, and, strangely, The Island of Dr. Brain. (Yes, it's edutainment. But it's FUN. And for some reason, I get a real charge out of the end credits... I've never seen a game do as good of a job in acknowledging the developers' work. Sounds boring, I know, but... it's not.)

...Anyways, I've already rambled on more than enough, so I'll leave it at that. :-)
Well, hello! I'm Thor. Thats not my real name but I've been using it online for a few years now.
I live in northern California and there's absolutely nothing to do here! I started gaming at an early age with Sim games. I nearly all the original Sim games such as, Simcity Classic, SimAnt, SimCopter, Streets of Simcity and a few others I can't remember.

I like simulation games, but RPGs such as Fallout 1-3 are my life! I played fallout 3 on my xbox 360 for a while, then moved to PC for mods. For the last two years I have been kind of obsessed with older games though.

I love that GOG sells classic games that I love, and I hope to be an active member of the community for many years to come!
Hello, I'm Justin! My personality is happy and curious. I'd like to become an airplane Pilot. I've got many games and consoles in my terms. i have Xbox with Live, a Windows 7 64 bit PC, a fat PS2, etc. My favorite games are Roller Coaster Tycoon deluxe, Railroad Tycoon 2, and Minecraft because of their creativity and fun! I am looking forward to be on the forums with you guys! :D

Well, for some stupid reason I registered myself with my real name, so I am Klaus from Finland. I can't remember a period of time where I wasn't more or less obsessed with games. First experiences include the Commander Keen-series, Midnight Panic (or something like that) on C64, Internatioal Karate for C64, and pretty much everything from Sierra. I grew to love the Quest for Glory-series the most and I still love those games to death.

Where other 12-year olds were already buying new games, I refused to use Windows for a long time, I would rock Dune 2 instead of the newer strategy games, but at some point I embraced some awesome newer games like Starcraft, Diablo, Thief, Fable etc.

I also loved Snes games. My bro had pretty much oll of them on the emulator on his computer, so I'd spent countless hours with playing FF6, Chrono Trigger, Megaman X (also had a real Snes as well with a few games). Looking back, gaming's just a huge part of my life. Now as a family-man, I'm trying to remind myself that I should spend time doing grown-up stuff, but I just can't stop loving games :)

Oh well. Glad to have found this site and glad to be a gamer! Also glad to see that there is such an active community for oldie games.
Finally - been trying to get Steam to instal on my machine for about a year lol. Am a gamer grandmother with grandsons who game. Now to find some of my fav games lol.
Hi, i'm a cat... not really. I'm just someone who loves games (duh) and being generally nuts. Been playing games since I was 5 and still miss my C64 to this day for some reason. Greetings to all the lovely people here
I'm from Ireland, Fiach is my dogs name, it means hunt (and funnily enough, debt), I play guitar (badly), I like reading and RPG's. I have a pretty eclectic taste in music from classical to punk rock. My favourite saying is, "The only mistake you make, is the one you dont learn from". The oldest game consoles I own are N64 and PS1, I have most released since then and they all work. My favourite game is naturally Planescape : Torment.
hola a todos
