Hello! My name is Pino and I've been wandering around GOG for some time now but I haven't participated much on the forums.

I love sci-fi themed games and I'd say that my favourite games so far on GOG are Freespace 2, Abe's Oddysee and Masters of Orion. I love horror films (And survival horror games) and I enjoy groups such as Rammstein, Jefferson Airplane and Twisted Sister.

Nice to meet you!

Hello Pino, welcome to the forums :) hope you have a great time :))
Might as well join the fun.

I'm Stephen, 27 years old. My parents bought a Commodore 64 the year I was born that was our primary computer until I was 12, and it had a ton of games due largely to the local hacker scene. (Coincidentally the store they bought it from was shut down for selling pirated games).

Besides a bunch of kids games the first games I really remember getting into were Sid Meier's Pirates! and Ultima 4. On the PC my first games were Sim City 2000 and the Warcraft 2 battle chest.

Now I'm a linux gamer. I play more Neverwinter Nights than anything else due to the plethora of mods and the linux client. I enjoy a healthy mix of epic CRPGs and puzzle platformers.

Thanks, likewise. I don't tinker myself into unbootable systems too often anymore, only when feeling particularly adventurous. :-)

Thank you! I'll sure do :D
guess it's my turn.

hi, i'm happy. i've bought a couple games off this site, but i never checked out the forums before.

i've been a gamer girl since i was two, playing on my mom's old Tandy 2000. i've got a special place in my heart for many of the old school games i used to play, and this site kinda slaps me in the face with nostalgia.

as far as the kinds of games i like, i tend to lean more towards RPGs and strategy, though i do like variety.

so yeah. nice to meet you all.

thanks guys. pretty sure i will. ^_^
I've posted before, but I haven't properly introduced myself

I'm DraculaMarth, or Marth for short.

Up until fairly recently, I was strictly a console gamer, but that was less from dislike of computers and more because I didn't have a decent gaming computer. Now that I do, It's like a whole other world has opened up to me.

My favorite genre is the fighting game, and my musical tastes are all over the map, but I have a preference for metal.

lovely little world, ain't it?
Hay everyone, happy to meet you all!

It's real great what GOG have done here with all the games available, so many thanks to you guys, I've already got quite a few now :P

Little about why I'm here. Grew up as a gamer in the 90's and early 2000's, enjoying immensely the titles of that era. Unreal Tournament 99, Grim Fandango, Half Life1, Myst, Full Throttle, Hardwar, I-War, Warcraft 2.....the list goes on!

Needles to say, I feel right at home here now haha.

So many happy hours of Good Old Gaming to us all! :D
Hello GOG community!
I registered on this site almost 2 years ago but have never posted on the forums so far and I think this has to change. :-)

My gaming 'career' started with an used Amiga 500 + a huge box full of floppies I bought from a friend. A lot of those games are still among my favourites - they have aged surprisingly well, I think.
I registered on GOG to play again some of my favourite games but have since then found some great games I probably would have forgotten without it and some I completely missed at their initial release, so I'm really glad this site exists.

Nice to meet you all!
