Heya everyone, this site looks awesome...! love the prices, extra downloads/interface/etc.
Haven't played PC games for quite some time, enjoying my Xbox 360 though, but I started searching for some light PC games to kill time during travel on a netbook. GOG seems the place to be for that kinda games... so well, here I am :-)
Why hello there everyone!
I've seen the odd link to GoG on various sites ranging from Kotaku to less well known blogs and other places. Finally joined because I saw they have Original War, and, well, my copy is permanently busted. The disc 1 is cracked clear through. It's ugly. But GoG has it! And Sacrifice! And all sorts of other games I have/had/always wanted!
Strategy games are a must, rpgs too, shooters are fun, but keep the racing away please.
Don't think I have posted in here yet, but a lot of you know me already from a few...undesired boards.
Hi, I'm Rohan15 (Just call me Curtis.), I'm 15, and I love gaming and reading.
I also have a Steam Account (rohan15527...stupid bastard jacked my name.....=P)
and am a frequent HL2: Deathmatch player. I also play Atlantica Online (Same name as GOG name).
So, Hi everyone who doesn't know/hate me =)
Hey there :)
Hi folks!
I'm Satchman2000 (Dave to my mates), and I live in Scotland. Been playing games since I got my Binatone Pong machine in 1976, and never looked back.
Heavily into emulation, althuogh I have loads of retro consoles in my loft, and I enjoy playing my Wii, DS, 360 and PS3 on occasion :)
Current playing Cannon Fodder after downloading from GOG.com... its awesome!
so.. hi.. and bye :)
cheers
Dave

Currently using ZNES and Visualboy Advance. Also have Xbox360 and Wii (Hate that fucking thing....), as well as a PS2, Sega Dreamcast (Dead or Alive 2 is what I grew up on.), and a SNES that is currently in a coma...

Hey everybody.
I'm Rayven998. My handle is a tribute to my dad who I lost two years ago come September. He was an F-4 Phantom pilot during the Vietnam War. He flew with 'Raven" squadron of the 99th TFW (tactical fighter wing) based out of Thailand and the unit was credited with 8 air to air kills (three of them my dad's). My name being Ray, I added the y to personalize it a bit. I use the same handle pretty much everywhere. If any of you have ever been to Gametap, you'll probably recognise me right off as I post quite a bit there. I also post a lot on Gamespot and have writen a nunber of reviews there as well.
I'm an older gamer (46 to be exact) and have been gaming since I got an Atari 2600 for Christmas in '76. Since then, I've owned an Intelevision, a Colecovision, an NES, a Virtual Boy (don't even ask why I bought THAT piece of crap), a Sega Master System, a Genisis, a Saturn, a Dreamcast, a PS1,PS2, and most recently, a PS3. I still own all of these and all are still in perfect working order.
I'm still a relative noob to PC gaming. I got my first computer (the one I'm typing this on) just over a year and a half ago and it's far from what you'd call "high end". I'm currently unable to run anything that came out after say, 2004. Understandably, I was quite pleased to find this site. I was like "FINALLY. Here's a site that offers games that my system can actually run. Sweeeet."
Think I'm going to be spending a lot more time here. :)

Sorry for your loss, but what a badass!
Welcome to GOG!
Hi!
I study computer science here in Germany, where I was born and have lived ever since.
I love good shooters (especially Q3, Descent series), racing games (CMR 04 and 05), RPGs (WoW - yuck) and of course Jagged Alliance 2 (god, how I love this game)!
I run Linux and never ever regretted it. Those new games are only stupid rip offs of good old games anyways. ;-)
Other stuff I do besides coding:
- biking
- basketball
- chess
- chilling to hiphop/funk/fusion/jazz/blues/other_good_music(tm)
- drinking too much beer
I'm glad I found this site with it's lively community and hope it remains and grows as old as sourceforge and older.

What, no Rammstein? Welcome to GOG!
Hey! I'm Dafrety. I'm just a high school student trying to get though a pretty busy life. Playing games helps takes the stress off of things. I'm not into online gaming much, I mostly like to stick to single player affairs unless I'm playing in the same room. I play games like Peggle, Bejeweled, The Sims, and various racing games. Give me the classics like Need for Speed High Stakes and I'll do my best to beat you.

Greetings from beyond....the screen!
I'm a student from Finland who enjoys playing and collecting videogames. I quess you could call me a hardcore gamer.
I own shelves of games for various different platforms like the PC(of course) Xbox 360(My dear) PS2, PSOne, NES, Atari 2600, SMegadrive, GBA to name a few.
I'm quite excited about this site and I hope all of my old time favourites or games I somehow missed get here eventually.
Besides gaming I'm a passionate singer and guitar player. I also write and read a lot. Well I think thats about it.
Oh and in case anyone is wondering about my username. The "Nokikana" part means "Coal chicken" in finnish and the "J" represents my first name, which is always a secret of course :)

Coal chicken......Welcome to GOG>
Hi,
I am kianweic (most people called me "Ken"). I am 27 years old and I am from Malaysia, it's a country near to Singapore.
I am PC gamer since I was 10 years old. I have been playing loads of PC games since its heyday. Lately, I have a tendency to reminiscence the older games I have played many years ago. I stumbled on Good Old Games ("GOG") while reading several PC Gaming magazines and here I am purchasing old games at an affordable price.
Regards,
Ken
