Crassmaster: I guess my primary reason for signing up for GOG was Fallout : Tactics, which I never played. Seeing as I'm a big fan of the Jagged Alliance series, and Silent Storm, it certainly seems like something I could see myself spending a lot of hours playing. Also, I missed Operation Flashpoint the first time around, and cannot wait to finally give that game a shot.

Hi, the name is Worbat.
I was told about GOG just before it hit beta by a friend of mine ( which I cant remember)
Currently contemplating getting freespace2, but would like to thank the GOG staff for putting up such a wonderful service. You guys are like the steam of old games but with more awesome.
I wish you all the best and I hope to purchase lots of games from you guys.
My name is Zachary Hamilton
I live in Atlanta
I love this place
What's up everyone.. DJSteel is here.. I've come for Sacrifice and Messiah and hopefully a future Dungeon Keeper revival. I'm from Pittsburgh(Sixburgh), PA.
Hi everyone! I hail from Athens, Greece. My name is Thanos. GOG.com is the best site for the true old games' collector. So many old games here, made to work flawlessly in windows XP/Vista and WITHOUT DRM! Awesome community and game additions on the catalogue in small intervals combined with the coolest prices EVER, are the things that brought me to this site, and the qualities that will keep me here for a LONG time! Happy nostalgic gaming everyone!

Hello GOG!
I'm 20 and was a console gamer for most of my life, except for point 'n click games like Sam and Max, Full Throttle, and the Monkey Island games.
Then I discovered how amazing these older PC games are, and frustrated with the majority of games that come out these days, have been playing them one at a time :)
Just registered to GOG, because of the DRM free, easy way to download these games with awesome bonuses.
Happy gaming!
*goes to get Fallout*
Hey, GOG. I'm 24 and I have been a console gamer for my whole life. Because of deals on... another service, I decided to get into PC Gaming, and I love retro games, so I joined up!
Hey everyone!
Well...I'm 32 and used to be a hardcore gamer...I still play, but only casually, and absolutely LOVE revisiting some of these games! The concept and price bundles are awesome! Go GOG, I can't wait to see what else comes our way!
I feel the gaming industry is catering too much to overly complex games that just LOSE you if you don't have at least 2-3 hours a day to dadicate....MINIMUM! Yes that includes games like WOW.
I'm a huge fan of Blizzard and LucasArts, but would love to see the revamping of just easy, fun, strategic games (think Monkey Island series, Warcraft II, those games!) and even a new style Arcade like games.
Cheers to all!
Hello GoG. I just read about this site in The Escapist (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/issues/issue_190/5793-Preserving-Our-Playable-Past), and immediately flocked to it. I do see some games I'd LOVE to try, (like the first or second Fallouts).
I love both old and new games. My gaming "career" began with DOS classics (now mostly shareware/freeware) from Apogee and others, such as Commander Keen, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, Duke Nukem 2D (vs. Dr Proton), Crystal Caves, and Secret Agent. I missed gaming console-side as a kid, until my mom got me a PS1 for my birthday one year. We started off with arcade space shooters (if anyone else remembers playing Philosoma I'm going to piss myself!) and action games. I missed Metal Gear Solid and other "mature" titles during that time, but did get through the first two Wild ARMs and FF7, as well as Medievil and Pandemonium. I greatly enjoy playing older games as well. I've completed the entire MYST series (with a walkthrough!), I'm a big fan of older RTS games (Total Annihilation, AoE1, and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 1 & 2) as well.
I've played through ports of classic SNES games, such as Chrono Trigger (PS1: FF Chronicles), and a GBA port of Final Fantasy 6. I often download older games on the PSN, such as Castlevania: SotN, Syphon Filter, and Suikoden.
Right now I'm about 70-75% through Super Metroid on my mom's Wii.
Yo guys! been here since the beta but only just noticed this thread :s How stupid of me. Anyways, I'm 18 and enjoying Fallout and Freespace 2 far too much. Love the idea behind the site and behind it all the way. Can't wait to try out some of the classic games I missed.
horrar for gog!
Hi,
I'm from Portugal. Signed up during the Beta.
I like pretty much everything about GOG:
The look and feel of the site/boards,
The 'DRM FREE' policy,
The games, naturally,
The extra 'goodies',
The prices, and how hassle-free it is to buy games from GOG,
The shelf (still can't believe how good my games look on the shelf)
The shelf (Oh, wait...)
So, thanks guys and congratulations.
Namur
PS: Love the Witcher. Loved the E.E. content. Great RPG.
Hi there guys & galls. PC & Xbox 360 games here from South Africa. Very glad to have come accross this website - it's AWESOME! www.gennath.com

24 years old and been gaming for about 2 decades now. Found my way here via NeoGAF, love the deals, no drm, modern compatibilities, the shelf, and the growing selection.
Hope to see many a RPG I missed out on manifest in the coming times, as well as old greats that might be forgotten, but surely are still fun.
Hello GOG forums!
I've been a gamer for two decades now, owned every system under the sun, and still I prefer the PC.
This is an awesome site! I hope it goes far! I know I'll be a frequent customer.
hi, jørn, 33. make music for a living: http://jorn.lavoll.no
ive no idea how i found gog, but I bought fallout tactics right away. FT is actually my favourite of the series to replay. I do own them all, and maybe 2 or 3 copies of fallout 1, but ive no idea where they are, and at this cheap price, why not have a copy on a memory stick, and since these games are so "old", they play perfectly fine on my laptop.
so now i can kill mutants while i poo--- while on a plane to an important meeting somewhere :)
