Pheace: This, the premise of the game is fine as Dwarf Fortress has already proven, just needs more fleshing out. Certainly had fun with it so far. Hoping for both Towns and Gnomoria to get keep getting better and better, love these types of games.

Just a little plug for this thread: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/indiegamestand_current_game_will_be_updated

I intend to update the OP every time the game changes and keep a list of previous games. At the moment people have to go to the last page to see what the new game is since the OP is still about the pre-launch free game Chester.

And a new note appeared now:

"I used this feedback to get Digital-Eel to add Desura keys for Brainpipe. This is great evidence to show Developers."

Yes, I saw. Pretty awesome right?
That's excellent! I really hope this project does well.
I really like the concept of this website. Supports indie developers and charities. Only real dislike is that most of the games you have to get from Steam. That really does not make it DRM free. That is my pet peeve, not need to derail this thread because of that.

Are you talking about the same website as the rest of us? Most of the games so far haven't had Steam keys and the ones that have come with Steam keys have had a DRM-free download directly from the IGS site as well. The one exception is the current game, which isn't really DRM-free, but it's not on Steam either.

In summary, there have been no Steam exclusive games so far and it sounds like you talking about a different site.

EDIT: There's a list of past games in this thread I made.

I browsed a couple of the games and the choice on where to redeem them was steam. I will admit I didn't look too hard into it and as I said no need to derail the thread with my small observation that I did not put much effort into.

There were a couple that only had Steam as a redeem option, but as I said they had DRM-free downloads too so it hardly mattered.

Don't worry about derailing this thread, it's been dead for a few weeks!
