I typically have low expectations for this type of game. Either the word length is limited to the point where to game is dull, or a tight timer spoils the fun. Or it's just flippin' easy.

But Letter Quest is pretty great so far. I can play long words (15 letters, assuming I can find them) and the timed levels are manageable. Also, the difficulty setting for the harder levels is satisfying.

Granted, there isn't much depth, but they've wrapped up the simple act of spelling words with enough nifty features that it sustains interest.

Accatone: Letter Quest is now featured on IGS for the next 4 days: Letter Quest: Grimm's Journey (DRM-FREE, WIN + MAC)

BTA bonus is game OST (MP3 + FLAC)
Thanks for the update, and thanks to grimwerk for the comments. I think I'll give this a go, sounds like fun and a good way to flex one's lexical talents.
Why the hell did no one post this ???

https://indiegamestand.com/deal/

It's the beta for the new Infinite Space game ! Only 19 hours left !

the beta is currently Steam only, but full release will most likely be DRM free (like the others)

Not always. You get the odd one or two which are either Steam only (i think) or the silly Early Access ones sometimes which are Steam only .

They'd better, or else I'm gonna be angry.

Check with the dev to confirm.

Well, it certainly seems to work without the steam client at least - so it would suggest they're simply using steam as an easy mean of early access / beta testing.

And they do have the drm free symbol at top of their webpage (i facebooked the dev anyway).
Got a reply

"Hi Dev
Will Infinite Space III: Sea of Stars be available DRM free (non Steam) when the game is finished?.

cheers

"Absolutely Nigel. We'll be sure to make it available at several other DRM-free portals. Thanks for asking!"

New deal is In Exilium
It's an old-school isometric 2D hack 'n' slash made under Unity and compatible with windows, mac and linux.
The BTA is the soundtrack

Looks cool:

You could also check the general YT channel of the dev because he made a lot of video devlogs about this game so it can be interesting for the behind-the-scenes stuff:

And the deal page as usual:

Looks cool, yes. A simple indie Diablo clone..

However, it is also featured here for now, with many other games :

Yep, I was just about going to check indieroyale page when I was done reading some threads here :)

In this case, I would probably buy it it twice because the IndieRoyale version doesn't have the Linux port (so I can install it on my secondary pc) but I'm interested in Crunch Time and Drew & The Floating Labyrinth. Well, more money for the dev so :)

Hmm, if you buy the Indie Royale, you will get the Desura version normally, which has Linux, too. :)

I am thinking of buying the bundle, if you wait a few minutes I can confirm if you get it there, or not.

Edit : Purchased, I have got In Exilium by Desura, but there is no Linux installer at the moment, only Mac and Windows.

There are Windows installers / archives for all games, for Mac only 2 are missing, Dungeon of Gain and Inside the Gear and there are Linux versions for Drew and the Floating Labyrinth, Crunch Time! and Voyage to Farland.
