Thank you very much Petrell. So $12 will be the final price if we preorder now ?
Heh, I played Wazzal years ago. It was pretty good. I'll be keeping my eye on this.

Pre-order price is 12 Euro (16,36 $ at current rate). I'd assume full price at release, altought not explictly mentioned anywhere, is 15€ (20.46$ at current rate).

Edit: And do try out his earlier games available in games section (Notrium, Magebane 2, Wazzal, Bikez II and The Forge). They are all freeware.

Wazzal is pretty good. It's quite similar to an old game called Solar Winds, which is what I liked about it. You fly around the solar system doing missions and fighting other pirates and aliens.
Notrium looks like a game made especially for me to play <3

Thanks so much for this neat link! +1!

I'll give it a try. Thx Talby.
I'm the developer. Glad to hear there are still people interested in PC roleplaying!

The preorder is indeed a bit cheaper than the regular price after release. We're at a phase now where we're creating levels at full speed, so we're very eager to listen to player suggestions.

GOG users might find it interesting that my greatest inspirations for Driftmoon are Ultima VII and Baldur's Gate. It's quite different of course, but I'm aiming to recreate some of the spirit from the classics.

What's character creation like?

And what can you tell me about the game mechanics?

Heh I first got to know about you through Bikez II, back in 2002 (2003?). When are we gonna see a sequel to that :P. But seriously, I really loved it. Bullet Time + Carmageddon with bikes is a combination that just can't go wrong lol.
i played the demo and its good. If you liked the Ultima series then Driftmoon would be your game.

Have a nice game.

Notrium is definitely a good game, I'm not surprised that you're the one doing this game, the screen shots definitely reminded me of it. Not exactly a bad thing, Notrium definitely was an enjoyable play.
