Wow, a Stalker clone.
It must be sufficiently different to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games or there is no point.
I guess price will increase later on as it looks kind of too low priced.
I have a feeling this is leaning more towards survival than being an FPS like Stalker which have rather basic survival elements thankfully, i'm not really into survival games.

Shadow of Chernobyl is among the first group of games I bought when I got a PC that wasn't the equivalent of wet dog turds. It remains one of my favorite games I've ever played, even with all the crashes I endured.

That said, this game looks interesting (even if it's a game by The Farm 51) but I don't have the money for it and GOG just sent out another discount newsletter so if you plan on buying this game now, here's a way to do so cheaper (knocks it down to $27USD):

I asked the devs on Steam and yes, it is more survival and stealth with not too much ammo and only 2 weapons in this early access version.
I am not sure if I saw and read it correctly, but it seems that many missions are timed which is a big no no for me. Would buy it without timers, let me play at my pace especially in a supposed to be atmospheric setting such as this. The rest is looking really nice and interesting, kind of a modern take on the Stalker series.

I was really keen, but not with timers. It would be useful if that element can be optional in the gameplay settings.
The trailer got my attention, especially beginning and end. Well done!
I backed the kickstarter for Chernobylite. I am glad it made it's way to GOG. At the time of the Kickstarter they only had Steam as an option. I hope we get a choice of which early access key we get. :)

Good job Farm 51 and GOG for getting the game here. :)

Maxvorstadt: Wow, a Stalker clone.
I wish it is a STALKER clone.
For all those interested Chernobylite is based off of the Chernobyle VR project.

Farm 51 has done several small documentary videos about it and used some of the proceeds for humanitarian aid in the region.

Yeah, it shares some terminology from Road Side Picnic and Tarkovsky's STALKER and by default the game. However, it goes it's own direction.

I hope they fix the framerate issues, Getting major lag on 2080ti at 4k. dips to 30 but man I LOVE THIS GAME, it's been a long time from STALKER. They throw little memes from Chernobyl HBO series in here which I love :)

Do you know if they plan a Linux release? I don't see any info on their Kickstarter page.
