omega64: To be fair the opposite has happened.
Indeed. Scratches was removed from GOG about two weeks after it was removed from Steam. Also, Chronicles of Riddick was removed from Steam about 4 years ago, but it's still here. There are other examples like Neverwinter Nights 2.

omega64: The Void was removed from Steam quite a while ago and it's still here on GOG. *knock on wood*
I don't think that The Void is actually in danger of being removed from here. On Steam, it was removed by the developers because they had troubles with one of their publishers, ND Games and wanted to take control of the distribution back from them. The game was brought to GOG by a different publisher, which is why it doesn't seem to have affected anything so far.

Interesting, thank you. :)
Superfrog HD is still on Steam. Perhaps Team 17 went, "Ohnose! Look at all these pirates! We must take down the GOG versions and leave the Steam version!" ;-)

I assume it's like Descent where it took more time to get the games taken down.

They took our job- erm... gaems!
Was that the very quiet crinkle I heard last night? The sound of a game I forgot about most of the time vanishing?

Note: Not saying Superfrog was bad, just saying that I forgot it existed.

Good news™
Hadn't noticed.

Trilarion: Hadn't noticed.
you couldn't had anyway, there was no notice ;)
While it may not be be regarded as one of the greatest games of all time, I loved it back in my Amiga days. Glad I picked it up, but some kind of notice might have been nice.

What gives GOG, talk to us.

*Edit* Actually, I only picked up Superfrog, not HD so this is a little worse than I first thought - now it affects ME.

Yeah, I guess sometimes stuff just happens.

Tonnemaker: I don't own either of those games, but what happens in this situation? Do the people who bought those games still have access to download them? Or do they lose access once GoG loses the rights?
If you bought it, you still have access to it.

Terrible shame. I do have both of them but that doesn't change anything - it's a terrible news
*Sigh*

I wish G-Doc was still here:

Even when the Enigmatic T was here, there were still slip ups.
