I'm a huge fan of RPGs, but the problem most of the time is that it takes weeks to play them.
So, I'm looking for short RPGs, can be any RPG genre, but I have to play on a PC, and I don't wanna use console emulator. I do happily play old games if the game is great!

Games I've played and enjoyed:
Bioware infinity engines games, nwn series, gothic series, dragon age series, mass effect series, fallout series, witcher series. Probably more.

I do understand that I possibly won't get any "done in two nights" like portal and metro, but preferably something that can be played in 15-20 hours maybe?

It's a plus if game can be bought on gog, but not a prerequisite.

What about NWN modules? Lots of good ones with varying length to choose from.
Eschalon: Book 1 is quite short but hardcore RPG. It took me about 20 hours to finish it. And it was great. http://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-EB1/eschalon-book-1-bundle

Precipice of Darkness, Episode One/Precipice of Darkness, Episode Two - Great jRPG-like games with penny arcade heroes in great setting. 6-8 hours per episode. http://store.steampowered.com/app/18000/?snr=1_4_4__13
And Third episode is in the making

Breath of death/Cthulhu saves the world - jRPG game with funny story. About 10 hours each. http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-CSW/cthulhu-saves-the-world

Kivi's underground - 30 scenarious, half an hour each. It is more casual/arcade than diablo-like, but i liked it. http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-KIVI/kivis-underworld-pc it has demo somewhere.
Try Septerra Core, if jrpg style doesn't bother you. I can't remember play length, but I don't believe it was that long?

Very very long. 40 hours play in that.

Oh. It WAS awhile ago when I played it, though. My elderly brain cells have come back to haunt me. :( (Although, in all honesty, 40 hours really isn't that long either.)
It does not, however, meet reqs.
I'm told that Fallout 1 is quite short. I can't believe I still haven't got around to playing that!
Thanks for the replies so far, and keep them coming!

I've seen there are quite a few third party modules out, can you recommend some?

I've played thru fallout 1 three times! It's what you make of it, if you do everything (which is worth it) you can probably put 50+ hours in it, if you blaze thru it, you can be done in 15. With speed runs (after you already know the game) you could do it in 5-6hrs.

I've also looked at the Eschalon series, but I thought they we're quite long.
How about Roguelikes? They tend to be over verrrry quickly. At least when I play them.
Arx Fatalis (available here on GOG is a very short but very enjoyable game (if anything I wish it was longer).
Nox

I knocked it out in less than 11 hrs. Very unique hack and slash RPG. I won't go into the different characters game play.

What I really liked about the game, that was unexpected, was the Solo Quest mode. It is great for a quick run when you just want a little action without any hassle. . . =)

The first Fable is short and I believe it is on the PC.
Fable 3 is also quite short, although lacking in the fun department.

Alpha Protocol could probably be done in 15-20 hours and is quite good. Throne of Darkness is an old-school hack n' slash set in feudal japan and I remember it being a lot of fun back when I played it. Obtaining it might be difficult now though
Fallout 1 is short and sweet. Might be a good choice.

Fable 3 pushed you into doing the linear shit too much, imo. It didn't have quite the same appeal as 1 or 2 for me.
