Darreck: I found this on a thread on the internet, and while I realize the potential that the info may be fake, most of it seems to be too good.

So thoughts on this? Will it hold true, will be just be a huge disappointment?

I am hoping for truth, all of those games.
The potential 'info" is fake as hell :)
From that list the only possible titles are Vampire - Bloodlines & Final Fantasy 7...
Rockstar Games,Sega,Zenimax & Lucas Arts + System Shock deal... there aren't enough weeks to anounce them all :D
My sources told me that they had some big surprises coming at E3. This was to be the biggest bonus to long time GOG user by saving up a bunch of Wishlisted games all at once. My source wouldn't elaborate saying that it needs to be kept absolutely secret, otherwise they will not make the huge announcements, they will just keep them until a later major event. So I absolutley believe that this would have happened if someone hadn't posted it right here!

There are several dead giveaways that this one is fake:
System Shock: This game is stuck in a horrible legal limbo that probably won't be resolved, ever. The licence has several owners, and they don't play nice with each other.
Odd pricing points: $2.99, $4.99
Cherrypicking Look at what games are in there, they have just cherrypicked some of the most wanted games. Final Fantasy VII, Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, Doom, Bloodlines, The Sims, Alice, System Shock. These are some of the most wanted titles. Is it not a bit too convenient that all of these are released in a very short timespan?
Looks way too good to be true. I'd be really REALLY amazed if that wasn't a fake. I know that GOG is going to do their best to deliver those games sooner or later, but hey, so many great titles in just few days? It doesn't make much sense to me...
Not really realistic, because there are many new publishers involved and GOG never did sales on old games directly from the start - only new games with higher price points (only exception was Witcher due to Witcher 2 promo). Knowing GOG loves publicity every publisher would get it's own big release party.

Edit: Does anyone really believe GOG would release Bethesda, LucasArts and Rockstars games at the same time and discounted, some of the most wanted games?

Too high or too low?

klaymen: This looks like someone's personal release wishlist or a failed trolling attempt.
What do you mean, "failed"? We're already discussing it. ;)
Fake... We won't be seeing Morrowind anytime soon:(
The closing comment looks like it as written by a sulky teen.

My informant frequently disguises himself as a floor tile in GOG's office building - he's just confirmed to me that keeveek's friend indeed sweeps and mops the floors there (hard).
