Yes.

-B) Will you begin/continue to use the thread. If yes, why? If no, why?
Yep, it's in the 'favourites', I check it whenever it turns white to check out those generous community offerings.

-C) Do you think the name of the thread should be changed so that its purpose of advertising giveaways is more obvious? If yes, why? If no, why?
-D) Or do you think a separate thread is more convenient for "giveaway advertising" leaving the former to its original purpose as a FAQ on gifting? If yes, why? If no, why?
I'm not sure about this one... theoretically, I think the FAQ portion is useful as it is and could be separate, but if You create a new thread for advertising, the original one would probably sink quickly without the post bumps. Still, it is already in the Community Stickies... I guess I'd go with changing the name though.

-E) Suggest the thread's new name, if you think the change is necessary:
Won't be very original, I guess a clear name would be best, "Community gifting thread", "Active community giveaways and FAQ", something like that.

-F) Any suggestions / constructive criticism to improve it?
It would be nice to have a list of active giveaways with end dates listed in the OP, but that would probably be hard to do with only one person able to edit the first post.

* Yes, it's convenient having everything in one spot. Less clouded than the general forum

C) Do you think the name of the thread should be changed so that its purpose of advertising giveaways is more obvious?
* Yes, as far as I can see the purpose of the thread is two-fold to advertise wanted games and to advertise giveaways, neither of which is how to make a gift. I don't really see the gain in hiding the thread from less careful readers.

D) Or do you think a separate thread is more convenient for "giveaway advertising" leaving the former to its original purpose as a FAQ on gifting? If yes, why? If no, why?
* It would be good to have a locked sticky on how to gift. Better organization is always nice.

E) Suggest the thread's new name, if you think the change is necessary:
