-A) yes
-B) yes, easy to lookup and advertise, would also be a good way for people to see and enter.
-C) yes people are like magpies to shiny objects when they see the word giveaway
-D) Yes should be a whole new topic just for people to post their giveaways and no other comments.
-E) GOG's giveaways
-F) Maybe something bolded like a release title, stickied is a must
A) Yes.
B) Maybe. Well, I used it sometimes to see if there are new giveaway threads, but I tend to forgot and just look through the forums. It's nothing against the list, it's just how I do things.
C) Yes, no doubt. As it is now it looks like it's only a gifting tutorial (I guess it started with this purpose). A lot of times I looked at the thread's title and thought "why did I put this in my favorites? Oh right it's thread with the giveaway listing!".
D) Yes, it's a good idea to have a hub to organize all the giveaways that are created - even if it'll make more people aware of them, and harder to win with random.org :D
E) I liked YogSo's idea:

YogSo: The new name of the thread should be, obviously, Good Old Giveaways ;-D
Put a "and Gifting FAQ" in the end and all the problems are solved.
F) It would be good if we got the Guys in Blue to stick the thread. Things get to be hectic in the forums sometimes and the it ends in the 3rd page, away from the community's eyes (not everybody uses the "Favorite topics" function).

Thanks ZPavelZ and thespian9099 for your work.

A) Did you know about the giveaway listing thread previously?
Yes I know, because YOU post about it quite a few times already :-P

B) Will you begin/continue to use the thread. If yes, why? If no, why?
Once in a while, probably. However, I usually just glance at the forum in general. I don't know, just a habit I guess.

C) Do you think the name of the thread should be changed to include "giveaway advertising" and make it more visible?
No, I think it is fine as it is. Besides, changing it now will likely cause confusions anyway.

D) Do you think a separate thread is required for "giveaway advertising". If yes, why? If no, why?
Probably it is not necessary in the sense that it is a must, but it is rather nice to have. Either way, thanks for it.

E) Suggest the thread's new name, if you think the change is necessary.
No change is necessary IMHO.

F) Any suggestions / constructive criticism to improve it?
It would be nice if/when the competitions/giveaways/contests have ended, it is also marked or announced in the thread, preferably in the respective posts.
A) Yes
B) No as I only look at the 1st forum page
C) Yes
D) Yes, easier for people to participate
-A) Did you know about the giveaway listing thread previously?
Yes

-B) Will you begin/continue to use the thread. If yes, why? If no, why?
No. I usually see giveaways before they're listed in the thread.

-C) Do you think the name of the thread should be changed to include "giveaway advertising" and make it more visible?
Yes, definitely. If a separate thread isn't made for giveaway advertising, then the thread title should be changed to make the thread's function more obvious.

-D) Do you think a separate thread is required for "giveaway advertising". If yes, why? If no, why?
Not required, but I think a separate thread would be a good idea. The current thread is a bit cluttered with both the "how to make a gift" info and giveaway advertising.

-E) Suggest the thread's new name, if you think the change is necessary:
GOG Giveaway Announcements

-F) Any suggestions / constructive criticism to improve it?
Can't think of any. Changing the name has already been covered in this survey, and that's the only issue I can think of.
A. I knew about the thread.
B. Yes, so I can keep up with all the giveaways
C. Yes
D. No, it already serves the purpose of gifting instructions and giveaway listings.
E. How to Gift GoG games and List of Current Giveaways.
F. It would help if the topic were stickied.
-A) Did you know about the giveaway listing thread previously?
I see that thread popping up from time to time, but never realize it is listing giveaway

-B) Will you begin/continue to use the thread. If yes, why? If no, why?
Seem very convinient, will start using it.

-C) Do you think the name of the thread should be changed to include "giveaway advertising" and make it more visible?
Yes. I believe I'm not the only one not knowing the actual function of this thread

-D) Do you think a separate thread is required for "giveaway advertising". If yes, why? If no, why?
Not needed after the function of this thread is more widely known, and I believe after this giveaway, most of us will know this thread.
-A) Yes
-B) Yes, I has the recopilation of all giveaways.
-C) Yes, I would be clearer for new users.
-D) Yes, One for how to make a gift, an another with current giveaways.

-E) Curreent Active Giveaways, Goog Ongoing Giveaways
-F) Mantain the first post with the cuurent active giveaways

Thanks thespian and ZPavelZ for mantaining the thread

First milestone achieved: more of 25 surveys completed! Thank you all!

New prizes when we get 50 and 100 (spread the word, my friends!).

As I see questions C and D are creating some confusion, I have changed in the OP to:

-C) Do you think the name of the thread should be changed to include "giveaway advertising" to make best suited to its present orientation?
-D) Or do you think a separate thread is more convenient for "giveaway advertising". If yes, why? If no, why?

NOTE: Just in case anyone doubts: surveys completed so far are still valid, of course! ;)

Also I recommend reading this post (especially the latter half) to clarify the matter: ZPavelZ explains here why we have to choose between rename the current thread or make a new one (if it seems more convenient).

A) I did know.
I've been following the thread since inception.
B) I will continue to use it.
It helps to make sure that I find any interesting threads that might have appeared while I was otherwise engaged...
C) Assuming that it has served it's original purpose & is now purely a listing of giveaways, then yes the name should be changed. However, there may well be users who will still find the original information useful, so perhaps a new "Giveaway directory" would be more appropriate...
D) Yes. See above...
E) GIveaway Directory seems to fit the bill.
F) Before advertising a giveaway in the thread, perhaps CHECK THAT IT HAS NOT ALREADY BEED ADDED!
Ideally, the giveaway creator would add it to the thread, but this does not always happen. It is great that other users add them, but there have been several duplicate listings. This is not that big a deal, but I am a bit OCD about these things...
FF) More an observation than anything else, but this does mean that there will have to be a constant stream of giveaways to keep the thread visible, unless it can be "stickied". Not that that's a bad thing, of course...!!

Licurg: F) People who post about a giveaway should edit their post to say it's over.
REALLY good idea! +1 that man
;-}

And just to comment on some of the other suggestions:
Naming it as GOG's giveaways (or similar) could suggest that the contests are offically created or endorsed by the GOG crew, which could be misleading....
Perhaps I'm being pedantic, but that's how I would see it.

A: Yes
B: If this thread gets enough attention then yes.
C: Yes, "I Have A Dream" is a confusing title.
D: No, I think this thread will be enough.
E: Good Old Givaway? :)
-A) Yes
-B) No, as I don't participate in many giveaways
-C) Yes
-D) Yes, and if you like, you can use the contest page on the gogwiki.com as well ;)
-E) Community Giveaway List
-F) hmm, not at the moment, might edit later if I have an idea
-A) Did you know about the giveaway listing thread previously?
Yes I did.

-B) Will you begin/continue to use the thread. If yes, why? If no, why?
Most certainly. To be hones I find GOG forum a bit user unfriendly. So this thread is a nice to visit from time to time. To see if there is some interesting giveaway that I missed.

-C) Do you think the name of the thread should be changed to include "giveaway advertising" to make best suited to its present orientation?
No. I kinda like it's current name. Sounds pretty cool to me. :)

-D) Or do you think a separate thread is more convenient for "giveaway advertising". If yes, why? If no, why?
As I said above.

-E) Suggest the thread's new name, if you think the change is necessary:
No change necessary. :)

-F) Any suggestions / constructive criticism to improve it?
Perhaps to make the thread sticky? I know you can add it to you favourites. And that is kind a same thing as being sticky. But still making it sticky would be a nice way to gain attention of a newer users .
-A) Did you know about the giveaway listing thread previously?

Yes, I saw it when Pavel first made it

-B) Will you begin/continue to use the thread. If yes, why? If no, why?

No, because the only use I can see for it is for people who don't read the forum to log in and quickly enter any giveaways we have made. This seems to defeat the whole object of community giveaways to me. Anyone reading the forum knows about the giveaways anyway, and people who don't read the forum shouldn't be entering the giveaways.

-C) Do you think the name of the thread should be changed to include "giveaway advertising" to make best suited to its present orientation?

Whatever

-D) Or do you think a separate thread is more convenient for "giveaway advertising". If yes, why? If no, why?

Giveaways don't need 'advertisements'.
Please don't enter me - thanks for all the work you put in, and your generosity. Shout out to ZpavelZ as well :))

1. a) not until you started giving me subtle hints lol :))
b) yes, but someone beat me to it yesterday :)
c) no, see D
d) I think a seperate thread is a good idea, as you have different info in your current thread. It would make it clearer for both you and others.

e) see D
f) any searching for info would be solved, if you had a seperate thread.

Ps. your english is great :))
