Nice!
This is kind of cool. Tommo retweeted my tweet thanking them for the Sid Meier releases and expressing hope in the Humongous games coming through them or Night Dive or whoever.

Great to hear. Since GOG has been getting about 1 release per week from Tommo this year, it's probably pretty safe to say HE on GOG is only a matter of time.

Now I'm more curious about what assets they have exactly. We know the Backyard Sports and Moonbase Commander both went to separate companies, but does Tommo own the Big Thinkers games? Plus, I believe the Jr. Field Trips were co-created and co-owned by Random House, so I have no idea about them.

Honestly I'm not sure either; I've really only cared about Pajama Sam, Spy Fox, Freddi Fish, and Putt-Putt. :P

It's something that could be asked via Twitter or Facebook, though I dunno about receiving a transparent response.

Her stuff seems really interesting, thanks! I did a bit of looking and it seems she also has one for Freddi Fish and the Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds:

Cool! I left a comment about these games hopefully coming to GOG, and posted a link to this thread. :)
Humongous retweeted my desire to see the games come GOG. :-)

Thanks, I appreciate it. :)

I posted in r/games to guage how many people would purchase these games if they were re-released on GOG. The timing seems good as Tommo recently finalized their takeover the IP -

Loving the fact we are getting stuff like Silent Service here. Hopefully see some more games like F29 Stealth Fighter, F15 Strike Eagle etc here
It seems there will be "a big reveal coming next week" Hopefully this will be good news.

I want to think the best especially since Tommo has brought so much, but for now I'm going to be 90% pessimistic and guess that it's Steam releases of the original games, perhaps with Night Dive being involved somehow (since they've retweeted some of the Humongous countdown too).

Obviously I won't be buying any unless Humongous/Tommo releases DRM-free versions somewhere - GOG, Humble Store, Big Fish Games, etc.
