Darvond: A lot of the games that Humble
does claim as DRM free often comes up as false when placed under scrutiny, there are several games whose descriptions countermand the idea; especially the idea of being provided with a Steam key.
Kingsway is provided via Steam for Windows and is also provided DRM-Free for Windows. A free Steam account is required.
Darvond: This is very bad wording on their part, meaning that a Steam account is required
for redeeming the Steam key. The DRM free installers are available as direct download and .torrent from Humble-provided servers.
I’ve been using Humble Bundle to buy a lot of games with this mention, and never owned any kind of Steam account ;)

vv221: A quick reminder that Humble Bundle provides a "DRM-free only" filter in their store:
https://www.humblebundle.com/store/search?drm=download Something that is still lacking from GOG store…
Orkhepaj: heh? why would that make sense for gog?
Because right now we have no way to filter between the 3 DRM schemes used on GOG:
- no DRM at all
- Galaxy or another third-party required for some game features
- Galaxy or another third-party required for all game features
