Maybe 0-6 hours per day. It varies a lot, and like the OP, watching TV eats lots of the gaming time too. After all there are numerous TV series that one is supposed to watch or be left out, and even the free TV here is pumping out interesting movies faster than I can watch (just today I watched "The Warrior's Way", it was ok, nice sword fights; yesterday I watched "The Onion Movie", and I still need to watch some Walking Dead episodes and Star Trek TNG...). I don't even try to watch e.g. Spartacus or Game of Thrones, I feel so left out.
Reading these forums, I am sometimes amazed how many games some people seem have completed, especially those who have apparently completed pretty much all the CRPGs I know, old and new, be it Baldur's Gates, the whole Elder Scrolls series up to Skyrim, Dragon Ages, Mass Effects etc. etc., yet they apparently buy GOG games too, and even play them? Maybe I am just such a slow gamer, and I usually play with the highest difficulty and try to find all secrets and complete all subquests.
But now I think I'll play a bit of Area-51 for an hour or so before I hit the sack. It is one of those games Midway released for free. Pretty nice FPS, even though it seems pretty aged for a 2005 game. Reminds me of the first Halo game, mostly.
