hercufles: I want to finish witcher 2 but i have problem with sequals ( I always wnt to finish the previous one first) But witcher is a huge game and taking a lot of breaks of that game since some quests can be very nasty.
I had trouble doing quests on the swamp. I hated it. Too many enemies, too often and repetitiveness is what kills it for me. I simply left the swamp alone until I leveled a bit and collected several quests that had to be done there and tried to finish them all in one playthrough. Like swallowing a pill. The rest was interesting and diverse, even if the fighting mechanic stays the same throughout, but at least the enemies came more spaced in between.

You'll hate the trees. The ones that pop out of the ground with a skeleton in between and shoot you from afar. They'll kill you at a distance while you collect a following of adoring drowners chasing you around. Next time you level up, check what upgrades you can get to make you tougher and there must be a potion or two that can help you last longer or kill faster, but I've forgotten a lot of the names, it's been a while. (Not much of an advice, lol!)

Thanks yeah but they kill at close as well I had a dumb idea once to attack one, I came to regret that. I have the problem that i need a component from the drowner but i cant since i dont have the knoledge how to get it from them
Not many, I'd say about 10. I should really play more instead of just buying them.

hercufles: Just curious and maybe there was already a post with this question, how many games have you finished on gog?
Do games which you had finished already before buying from GOG count too? I presume not.

BTW, how can I see how many GOG purchases I have? I don't see any number in My Account/My Games, and counting them manually is soooo burdersome. Anyway, if I counted right, I currently have exactly 270 GOG purchases (including freebies, and counting series as one title, if they were sold together, e.g. King's Quest 1-3 counts as one title).

Of those, I have completed 0, after purchasing them from GOG. I am not counting the games I had finished already before I re-bought them from GOG.

Closest to the end I am with Gorky 17, and Baldur's Gate, so either one will probably be my first finished GOG game. But, most of the Baldur's Gate I played with my CD version, and at some point I simply moved the save games to the GOG version and continued there. Gorky 17 I have played from the start on GOG, albeit I have also the CD version (aka Odium). I just never went ahead to installing it.

Ok I guess. Story-driven light-weight "adventure" with tactical turn-based combat sessions.

I originally installed and started playing it because so many were complaining about the technical issues with the GOG version, by the comments it appeared to be a completely unplayable pile of dung that GOG shouldn't have ever released. Since I had bought it already, I wanted to see it myself. I don't share those sentiments for the most part, some glitches but nothing that serious on the two systems I've played it (others may have more serious issues, I don't know...).

Anyway, mere technical testing session became a true gaming session, and I've played it on and off here and there. I don't think it is that long a game, hence I expect I'll probably finish it pretty soon, probably sooner than Baldur's Gate where I sometimes have some motivation problems.

Finished before buying the GOG version: 3 + 2 out of a pack + 1 expansion

As good as finished (damn you, Meat Circus): Psychonauts

That's easy - none!

I play so many different games regularly, it takes me ages to get through anything.
