Dungeon Keeper 1&2, Theme Hospital, Magic Carpet, 3 Populous games, and Syndicate 75% off!

Hey kids! Do you know what time it is? (No, please twell us uncle G-Doc!) It's time to start the holiday sales on GOG.com! (Yaaaay!!!). Yes, that's right. This time of year GOG.com rolls out the big promo guns. This time we begin with a great bundle of Bullfrog Favorites, that you can get with an amazing 75% discount! Let's take a quick look at the content of the first GOG.com holiday promo package, shall we?

You can learn how good it feels to be bad in Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2. You can cure such diseases as transparency and broken wind in Theme Hospital. You can glide the Arabian skies on your Magic Carpet. You can become a god-like being and lead your followers to glory in Populous, Populous 2: Trials of the Olympian Gods, and Populous: The Beginning. Finally you will dominate the future as the head of your Syndicate. Normally, to do all that you'd have to pay nearly $50. But for the next 24 hours that whole bundle of games can be yours for only $11.92!

That's not all, of course. You just saved over $35. There must be something cool you can do with it, right? As you browse through our catalog, you will notice that almost all of the games we offer have been discounted by 50% for the holiday season. That's no mistake! We really took our sharpest scissors to those prices, so you can enjoy literally hundreds of excellent games for half the regular price.

Enjoy our offers, grab the Bullfrog Favorites bundle for only $11.92, and fill your home with holiday gaming cheer! Happy holidays!

Barefoot_Monkey: Hmm... odd problem here. I completed the checkout form and got a payment notification from my bank... twice. But I'm still sitting in the checkout screen with the spinning "busy" circle and the games aren't in my account. (apparently the call to https://secure.gog.com/checkout/ajax aborted with a 504 gateway timeout).

I'll try again in about half an hour.

edit: It worked this time! I trust you guys to charge me only once ;)
There was indeed an additional charge, but I was able to cancel it, since the transaction was made very recently. I'm not 100% sure, but I think you should get your money back way faster than if it were a regular refund. I apologize for the original issue, though.
With all the love for Bullfrog, maybe some can vote for Powermonger in the wishlist

Thanks in advance !

Hi Firek. Thanks for sorting that out :)
So, um... I saw this late yesterday and was interested; many of the games in the Bullfrog promo were ones I've been meaning to try. Since it said there were ~35 hours left when I checked, I figured I could wait until today to make a decision. But now this page says the promo has ended and doesn't give me the option to purchase, even though there's a timer right above that that says it doesn't end for another 9.5 hours? (And it's counting down, so it's not the negative time someone mentioned in a previous post.) Anyone else experience this, or is it just me?

I don't see a timer on that page now. The original timer was for 24 hours... Is your computer's date and time set properly?

On the main page do the timers in the banners for The Witcher 2, FTL and ArmA 2 show up properly? (8 hours, 35 minutes left as I post this).

Your computer's date is set wrong. It seems that the webpage uses your local time to display remaining time, so if your clock is wrong, the remaining time will also be wrong.
Less resource heavy server-side, more error-prone user side.
Hooray, for the start of the best promo of the year at GOG,

but kinda sad for missing the Bullfrog bundle. I'll make up for it by getting Inquisitor today, I just got a new mouse so what's better than a clicky clicky game. :-)

Ah yes, this seems to have been the cause. Not sure how my computer got set a day back, but it was. Thanks!
