I am loving this game
Oh, thank goodness! I was so afraid that you'd dislike it! It pleases me to hear that you're a satisfied customer, and do hope that you'll buy from GOG again.

I remember games going from 5 1/4" to 3 1/2". It was difficult to love a game after that. Until CDs and DVDs came along. The lovin' hasn't quit.

My thoughts exactly, upon seeing the OP.
Horrible things can happen when a man loves a game.

And the screwed up thing is, the game left me and stuck me with child support payments for that abomination!

Was it good for you? ;)

Best bet would be to leave your opinion or review here:

Hob is on my todo list but first I'm going to plunder the not so united kingdom in Expeditions Viking. Looks fun though, saw some stream on it but seems one of those games that are best to experience yourself.

Oh I don't know. I remember trying to zip up the demo to C&C across 7 3.5's. Good times. Size isn't everything you know.
Jokes aside, Hob is fantastic. I wouldn't call it perfect, it certainly has room for improvement in several areas, but it's definitely one of the best newly released games I've played in a long time.

Completely agree. I rarely finish a game but this one had me hooked for two days until I finished it. It would have been great to have the possibility of a camera zoom and the map could have been much better but except from that I had no complains at all.

Yeah, the lack of camera control really fucks you over in a few places. I know the devs are aware of this and are working to correct it, because I can see in the changelog that they already have changed the camera angles in some places in patches. The first release version was also quite unstable and crashed quite often, but that also appears to have been fixed.

They also are aware of the now missing possibility to rebind keys from inside the game (there is a config file though) which imo should be a MUST for every PC game and they plan to integrate this as well - but it takes time. What I am also missing was kind of a secret finder in the end. I am still missing one last sword part even though I finished the game already. I searched for hours but even with a custom map so far no luck.
