Ok, i've been playing this for the last 2 days and i'm curious, i do realize that objectives help to push and that is somewhat the answer for my question but in a game that matches 5 squishy champions vs a team with 3 tanks and 2 squishy how does the squishy team wins a team fight?
They had like Uther + Muradin + Sonya (and other two) and they were melting us, in games like LoL (and i guess dota) people can buy stuff to fight the tanks but not here, we were like one level behind and yet it was almost impossible to damage (especially with the mix of Muradin Ulti with Uther heals and ulti), ironically we won the game because they were arrogant, they aced us and went back when there they could just finish right there, we respawned and killed 3 of them that were alone and pushed to the victory.

Btw, when is the champion rotation?
The rotation changes every Tuesday.
Matchmaking isn't all that great, you can get some really weird team compositions sometimes. Here you can't buy items, but you can spec your talents based on what the situation needs. Some heroes are better at this than others, depending on talents.

zeffyr: The newest Blizzard's child has just entered closed beta phase. What's innovative this time, you can buy yourself into closed beta for 35 euros. Ridiculous for me, but hey, we're living in times where 'early access' becomes standard stage of game's development, so I shouldn't be surprised that much.

Anyway, what are your anticipations? Blizzard describes it as 'Hero Brawler', but I can't distinguish it from any other multiplayer online battle arena. I never played any game of this genre, but it looks like League of Legends, doesn't it?

I'll try it out for sure after release. Maybe here's someone who's already tried it out in alpha or beta :-)
i barely looked at 2 screenshots and to me game just stupid?.. but yes i think stupid people like stupid games.. :( and why on earth would i want to play a game in closed beta? while it still has bugs? it definitely looks like LoL but even LoL is not good enough for me - first it's because most players are cowards and preferrrRRRR to play against bots when they know they'll win for sure. i even saw lvl 30 players and to my surprise they were playing the intro bots arena! D: what the.. i mean why? when they could at least choose something harder which gives more points? so that means humans vs humans matches took like 10-15 minutes to find! an outrage.. and then in the last match i played, there was a guy in the enemy team with exactly the same champion as me. at first i killed him most times? and then he bought some items - don't know what exactly, but he had a spell which he used first each time we fought. and that spell alone took half my health? wtf?.. at the end of the game he was so strong that i didn't even have time to react - he killed me in 2 seconds! only because he learned or read a guide which says what items are good and i didn't even bother with that crap. reminds me of freejack some parkour game - at beginning it was based on skill although attack skills were heavily flawed and the only way to dodge them was to have a good ping to server. but then in later maps you just had to learn all the shortcuts otherwise you were loser before game even started.

so to sum it all, i think you just a random faknob playing random faknob games?.. :( if you didn't have a high rep i'd think you just making advertisements for st00pid games..

Thanks for the input, very much appreciated.

Cool, looking foward to tomorrow champs. As for the talents, still it will depend of the champ that you got and your team comp, without anyone covering/cc.

Some champions can adjust the talents and cover different roles, while others don't have that much choice because most of their talent choices on some tiers suck.
To avoid strange team comps, play Hero League, and try talking to your team to get useful combinations. In Quick Match you can get something like Murky+Nova+Kael'tas+Illidan+Zeratul (which I named team Glass Cannon) against 2 tanks + 2 supports +1 assassin and you are quite screwed unless the 5 of you really coordinate well as a team, which doesn't happen that often in quick match.

Good luck in the Nexus!
In this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g52OQjPTSys , the guy has some icons above the portrait of his character showing what status he has (passive and stuff he collected), is there an option to show that? Can't find it...

These icons (about buffs and debuffs) were removed with the Kael’thas update (2 weeks ago). As you can read here they'll be probably implemented again in changed form (above hero, etc.).

Ah ok, thanks, a buddy of mine wants that stuff in his game and we were looking for it in the menu but alas, we didn't find anything about it and i was not sure what to call it so that i could search for it on google.

I'm curious, for those at level 40, what's the gold income from then on? I mean, sure, daily quests will give something from 200~800 gold... well... normally 200 gold each day and if you're lucky you might get one that gives you 800 gold. 2000 gold was a blessing considering how much the champs cost and i do realize that they want people to buy the champs with real money but still, around 30 gold for each game + 200 gold for daily quest is too little...

Level 40?!

I wonder for how long you have to be glued to the computer to get to level 40 since the open beta.

By the way, I´ve found it to be a fun game, though, as always the common bad denominator is.....................people (well if you can call some of those spawns people). Found out the most enjoyable matches are the ones where nobody open their mouth. I guess multiplayer shows the true self of everyone.

I hope here at gog we may be able to make a "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" group, invitation only :D.

I received a key from Zeffyr two months ago for the closed one and I'm lvl 28 :S Also I've never activated the chat, I can imagine what I'd get. :)
