The newest Blizzard's child has just entered closed beta phase. What's innovative this time, you can buy yourself into closed beta for 35 euros. Ridiculous for me, but hey, we're living in times where 'early access' becomes standard stage of game's development, so I shouldn't be surprised that much.

Anyway, what are your anticipations? Blizzard describes it as 'Hero Brawler', but I can't distinguish it from any other multiplayer online battle arena. I never played any game of this genre, but it looks like League of Legends, doesn't it?

I'll try it out for sure after release. Maybe here's someone who's already tried it out in alpha or beta :-)
Sorry, Blizzard's on my blacklist and has for a while.
I was never a big fan. I thought in terms of longer songs The Doors did a much better job with The End, and When the Musics Over.

Heroes of the Storm just seemed lost and meandering. :D

I thought Diablo 3 was OK. I expected storywise to be worse than what everyone been saying it is.

I want to play as Diablo (And it is his Diablo II version which everyone knows who it is), Arthas The Lich King, and Infested Sarah Kerrigan.

The Terrible Trio of Good Guys Turned Bad in Blizzard's Big 3 Franchises ;)

Sure the story might be okay, but the classes feel a little off, the loot drops were weak, the fighting was dumbed down... How it is now after the expansions doesn't matter as it continues to be always-online... And i'm not getting a PS3/PS4 version because it has an offline & coop mode.

I had to play as a Hammerdin Paladin in my first playthrough of Diablo 2. Kinda Repetitive. (Thinking of either trying a different build or play the game blind next time)

I had fun fighting Diablo on Tormant 1 though as a Crusader. Because I played on Normal and it was kinda too easy.

Heh, I think you mean Riders on the Storm. ;) Agreed about The End, though.

I did. I was pretending to be stupid. :P
Well okay, I was pretending to be more stupid.....if that's possible.
If you want to play a MOBA, i'd play League of Legends or DOTA2, before paying big bucks for playing Blizzard's (or whomever's) attempt to cash in on the hype.

LoL is a great game ruined by a horrible community/playerbase, best bet is to play with a team of friends (at least that way you only have to endure the enemy's trolling).

I haven't played DOTA2, but being the updated version of the original, it can't be bad.

My 2 cents.

P.S.- Good try, that The Doors joke, but the song was called Riders on the Storm. :P

Edit: I was ninja'd to the song correction.

That is just pathetic. I hate all the early acces bullshit, but this coming form Blizzard, the firm that makes more money monthly on WoW then most devs will see in a lifetime, is just pathetic. The only thing more pathetic are people who actually paid that.
The last good Blizzard game for me was Warcraft 3 and the expansion, WoW may apply but I never played that. Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 and DRM totally killed my respect for the company, a shame because they have great talent.

I think it's their solution to the practice of reselling beta keys, which took place with Diablo, HearthStone etc.before.

I was somewhat into DOTA2/LoL, but once i figured out what it was about i lost interest. like a bunch of busy-work. Got enough of a taste of it for free via Ring Runner's SDL (Space Defense League).
