The voices will give you answers. If you let them.

<span class="bold">Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is the upcoming adventure of a tormented young warrior whose journey takes her deeper and deeper into her own psychosis. Ninja Theory, the visionary studio behind the game, are dedicated to delivering an AAA experience using mostly indie means. It is an experimental and often challenging process, one that they decided to share in their frequent developer diary videos.

The latest entry (No. 28) offers some insight into the different approaches they tried while giving a face to the voices that haunt Senua throughout her travels. The failings, the dress-ups, the laughs, the team's resourcefulness - it all makes for a rather intriguing watch. Go ahead and explore the rest of the diaries if you're in the mood for fun mo-cap sessions and behind-the-scenes information.

Moreover, Ninja Theory's co-founder and creative director Tameem Antoniades recently had a lengthy discussion over at Game Informer, answering the community's questions about the studio's previous projects, Hellblade's themes, how they depict Senua's twisted reality, and the evolution of the game's combat mechanics, among other topics. Check it out in the second video below.

Best of luck :]
It most likely will be either a game I could not stand playing or one I devour. But regardless of which of these two extremes its a very fascinating project.
It does look like a very interesting project. I want to see how it progresses as a tale of mental health and how it affects a person.
I'm already sold on this! Sounds so very promising.
I do, however, have some concerns regarding gameplay, but time will tell...

On another note, I do prefer myself some written Q&As. All the banter and stuff is fine, but an hour is quite long, and there's no way to skip to the questions one considers relevant.
Do they say anything about plans for the Linux release?
I can't believe this game is coming to GOG.

GOG all day!!

GOG all day!!
My hope is that gog will become the default platform for indie titles, including JRPGs!

Did they plan a Linux release at all?

No idea, but they are using Unreal Engine, so why not. Any game developers who use cross platform engines should be asked this question.

Oh, if Unreal Engine is the case, I'm surprised they don't take advantage of it.
I guess they simply don't care like so many others as well.
great interview, very interested in the game
I really hope this is a start of a new franchise. I am intrigued by the psychosis angle.

The monthly coming soon&trade; news series to hype a game long before it's released? :P

I was thoroughly hyped up as soon as I saw the protagonist. Now I just want to buy the damn game already.
