I usually skip over orange button threads since there's never anything new or interesting. Now there's something new. :D

It's a ten day old thread. That's not "new". :)

But, yes. I've noticed. :p

No, I hadn't noticed it. :P

It almost became the first ever sticky that had to be closed.

Yeah, I don't know how long it was up there before I noticed it sometime last week. Like you, never really any reason to look at those.

But I've already felt the effects. Little old me, threatened with a 48-hour ban for posting some shitty things said by someone in the public eye. Ah, good times. I really hope this place doesn't turn into Twitter or Reddit.

I got those same warnings.

I have no problem monitoring myself for the sake of a less hostile environment.

They used the term "hate speech," might as well admit that this place is stuffed.

I don't see it as having anything to do with "hostility" or not, to be honest. What I posted is something you can find pretty much anywhere. I wouldn't mind so much if "creating a less hostile environment" didn't seem so one-sided and intent on stifling any kind of discussion at all. When you shut out one half of the argument, there is no argument, and then we're in real trouble.
I like the changes.

If some of you don't, good for you. :D

I'm tired of arguing about it.
Yes, I just now noticed it. So that means no more of my very famous and patented Shenanigans™.

Exactly why I wanted to share it. It kind of snuck in between everything. ^^

That reminds of an episode of Family Matters where Carl was told to not yell at Steve because he had to keep his stress down. This only made his stress go up and eventually he was hospitalized. The doctor told him that yelling when he's mad instead of keeping it in actually helps him reduce his stress, which he happily returns to doing. :>

Is it just regular "tired", or is it more of a "so... so tired" variety.
How did you NOT notice it? We must've had, like, somewhere between 7 and 10 threads that lead up to that. Unless you're one of those weirdos who sticks to the game-topics-only threads or something.

The first words on our web page are, in big bold letters, "Lake view rooms".

90% of the calls we get, the first question is, "I'm on your web page. Do any of your rooms have a view of the lake?"
Use appropriate language.
Does that mean I can't use the occasional swear word (not as an insult) anymore? =/

I didn't notice until I saw this thread either. I hardly ever poke my head into the stickies, so I typically automatically ignore them when checking the forum. That's very easy to do.

Everyone has to be nice to me, or I'm telling.
