Interesting, and it makes sense...

I don't really see the hype in Half-Life as a franchise or in general. Sure i had fun with Half-life 2 (Episode 1&2 as well) but i didn't really see why people love it so much.

The massive cliffhanger the series was left on makes it hard to just let it go. They owe it to fans who bought into the series to finish their story already, even if that means leaking the game's proposed story onto the internet so that we can all finally move on. It takes an astounding lack of respect for their fans to leave things where they currently are.

Though the series has taught me a valuable lesson about episodic games that's kept me from playing Dreamfall Chapters, Kentucky Route Zero, and a number of other as of yet unfinished games. Never again.

They owe it. But won't give it. They simply have not given any indication to make me believe that they give a shit about the franchise at this point. As long as they rake in as much as they do with their other properties, then they couldn't care any less about HL.

They just abandoned it and its dead now.

Fuck Valve.

Phuck it. If Valve will not do it, I will. But I will call it Full-Life 3, just to stress that finally the story is finished.

It will be an indie game with pixel art and 80s retro style of course, SID music and all the shit. Competition Pro joystick supported and required.

Zeboyd Games are probably working on this already. I hope you're looking forward to all the random JRPG combats against antlions. ;)
