Goddman between this and Resident Evil 1 Remake. Its really tough to decide.

Thats one thing I like to ask. Is this a built from the ground up remake or is it just HD, Impoved Textures/Graphics update with "gulp" redone voice acting with new voice actors?

Precisely. I've seen too many badly done remakes to be too excited about this. Dumbed down games with artwork and gameplay that's not true to the original.

Not saying that Grim Fandango Remastered will be bad, but I'd rather the original was here too.

Knowing how Double Fine has been recently been dealing on GOG, it probably won't come here.

Do you guys have to keep asking the same questions every time this is mentioned? All the information has been released online. There is a short trailer on IGN right now showing the graphic differences.

All this talk about the original, should be more grateful just to receive a copy. I know I am. I wouldn't want the original. Poor controls are going to be fixed and it is something I am most looking forward to. Bring it on and fuck the original! :P

Its just that lately I have been avoiding IGN like the plauge because its interface is too tablet oriented and demanding for my tastes.

The only thing I miss from IGN is their comment section which has the funniest top comments ever.

Alright it looks exactly the same but with much, MUCH better Lighting. Especially the shadows from window blinds. It really emphasises the game's Film Noir influances.

Game is coming out also for PS4 so controller support for the PC version is guarrented.

Indeed, hopefully it'll be a big improvement on the super sluggish controls of the original. I like the extra lighting, really brings out the scenery.

Its also one of the most wanted games here. Seems like DF trying to push the remake boat onto the people who want the original (holding it back)..
