First thing first, Grim Dawn is here some point this month!

Then, it is better than diablo 3, because classes, skill/stat points and trees, unlike diablo 3, have not been dumbed down or consolified/oversimplified.

Diablo 2 LOD has been and still remains my all-time, favorite, top, hack and slash, action, isometric RPG. I liked titan quest though and since it is the same group here (devs), with similar system and complexity/variety of gameplay promised to the one present in Titan Quest, i expect it to be a gem of a game, period! I have only good things to look forward to!

Diablo 3 won't be even *noticeable* for me, let alone a "loss", as a gamer. I already discovered Victor Vran (great game) and now Grim Dawn... Seriously/honestly, I couldn't ask for, let alone imagine/hope, for more or better doses of hack and slash, action, isometric RPGs. Finally, i can *leave*, sorry, *let* Blizzard *rot*, sorry, *rest* in *piece*, sorry, *peace*... Cough! Especially since they have no interest in selling oldies (diablo 1/Hellfire) or selling DRM-Free; or partnering with GOG...

Grim Dawn needs a GOG version! 'Voted!

For those asking about the DRM-Free copy, we're working with GoG to distribute those, as many people seem to favor that service and it will make it easy for non-Steam users to receive updates and access multiplayer match-making, if they want that. We're hoping to distribute those keys either at the end of this week or early next week. The GoG keys will replace the 32 digit keys we originally sent out, back before we really knew about GoG as an option." -- off Kickstarter (sounds like any gogkeys will be supplied via Humble account)

Now that's unexpected good news. I was expecting the drm build to come trough humble only. If i end up getting a gog key instead, its just cherry on top of an already good cake.

We expect the GoG release to be available as soon as possible, they are currently "reviewing" the build. We aren't going to be able to be more specific than that.

Backer rewards are all in the next patch, and we're just finalizing the key distribution for them.

^ already have it on steam but just curious will it have multiplayer galaxy support? Was anything said about whether or not steam folks will be able to play with GOG ones?
Did they improve anything specific over Titan Quest? When I used to play hack'n'slash I used to enjoy most of them (excluding the really generic/cheap ones) but I couldn't stand Titan Quest, don't know why I kept playing but I played it in co-op with 2 friends so at least that gave it some redemption points.

I liked Titan Quest a lot, but it's just so fricking long for that type of game.
