What are the odds that at the exact same time Rey lands on the planet Luke just so happens to be standing on the mountain top contemplating?

Makes for a beautiful shot but I'm seriously doubting the realism.

Hi Tiny, glad the Wings won last night. Hows' your day going?

sanscript: (almost like choosing between pest and cholera as they say)
avatar
Kardwill: Choose the pest. Nowadays, you have a decent chance of surviving the Black Plague, while some breeds of cholera can kill you in a few hours.
Thanks a lot - now I hope I won't have sleepless nights again. That question have always driven me mad...

I missed the end of the game. Was it in regulation?

Kardwill: Which maaaay be a good thing. It may force the EU to grow a spine and have a coherent foreign policy. We'll see.
Honestly, I was against all this talk of intra-EU military coordination (otherwise known as the "EU army"), but given that NATO is likely to fall apart now, I think coordinated European defence efforts are more important than ever now.

As you say, the EU needs to grow a spine and have a coherent foreign policy, but before it does that, it needs to change the balance of power to shift it away from the European Commission and back towards the Council and Parliament. That is basically its democratic deficit.

darthspudius: I hate to break this to you but the Nazi's were left wing and were closer in ideals to what Hillary was wanting. So I applaud your stupidity.
I hate to break this to you but: I wouldn't say there were left wing. There were nationalistic, populistic, somewhat agressive (let's look Hillary up) and partly social but the social democratic party and the communist party (the party they forbid first) were their strongest opponents while the catholic, conservative party mostly tolerated them because they were against the left.

So while I don't like the joke of jamyskis at all (Trump may be bad but Hitler was of course totally his own class), Trump is closer to the where the Nazis were than Hillary. That I'm absolutely sure of.

Even Trump had some social ideas in his election battle. I don't expect any of them to get realized but being populistic I think it's something you have to do in order to convince the poors voting for you, even if later nothing happens. The old school conservatives do not understand it.
I can smell it already that this Presidential election will awaken the argument of the popular vote again, maybe even more substantially now, since it is looking like the Trump lost the popular vote.

Just because National Socialism has the word socialism in it doesn't make them left wing. They were extreme right authoritarian. Top Right on a 2 axis system.

Unlawful sexual imposition towards a whole country! Also, I wonder if New Mexico is the Pussy of the US since Arizona is the Asshole.

Trilarion: But let's see, maybe Putin and Trump can become best buddies (same mentality if you ask me) and they will decide the fate of the world for the next years. Then you do not need to worry much about Europeans most probably.
I hope so. Because all military actions Europeans did where on Washington's behalf.
Without USA escalating political situation, Europe will be silent and peaceful. It's leaders are not independent.

I'm glad Trump was elected. He said he want peace.

Still talking about Hitler and the "evil" Nazis... BBBBBBOOOORRRRIIIINNNNNGGGG

Elmofongo: ...That should be the reverse

A poltician that is corrupt, arrogant, and beliigerent that is also competent at doing what she does makes it even worse?

That only proves she knowingly is doing all the bad things she does.
avatar
jamyskis: I'm not talking about competent at being corrupt. No matter how corrupt she is, Clinton would at least have been aware of the responsibility that she has to maintain the peace and compromise. The ability to compromise is key in politics. And I suspect she did at least have the greater good of the country at heart.

Trump certainly knows what evil he has committed. I don't doubt that his only interest in becoming president was to further his business interests and gain power and immunity from criminal prosecution, just because he could. Just because he's inexperienced and volatile doesn't mean he doesn't know the difference between good and evil.

You make him out to be some naivling, like a child who looks cute because he's holding daddy's gun. He knows exactly what he's doing, and he's a skilled manipulator, but it doesn't make him presidential material.
Like how she brought peace and comprimise to Libya?

Shit. I need to check but I don't know if that breaks the losing streak, but I may be wrong about that.

BTW, i hate the shootout. XD Love the new over time (as of last year) but the NHL needs to go back to accepting ties.

Hey, you watch any other sports?
