In another thread, someone commented that it's hard to find good games on itch.io, if you don't already know the name of the game. In other words, searching for good games is hard.
And I have to agree... she's right.
There's a lot of good games on there, but they're hard to find.

So it got me thinking... why not share them on here?

If you know of a good game on itch.io, could you post the link here, for others to see it? Also include the genre (adventure, puzzle, etc), and if it's free or not.

You never know when you'll find that hidden gem.

I'll start, by posting my own game.
The graphics aren't great, but it's a fun adventure game, nonetheless.

Headbanger's Heaven
Free adventure game

Nick Bounty And The Blue Chewed Shoe
Commercial adventure game

Phoenix Revive

I'll post three games that aren't free and are actually my favourite purchases on itch.io. The 3 of them could be considered as "in dev" but are worth playing.

Catacomb Kids A brutal roguelite platformer. Smart interactions with environment and traps give combat and exploration a deep tactical flavour.

Wildermyth A sort of fantasy XCOM with a deep focus on character development and personal stories. Very nice artstyle.

Unreal World This game needs almost no presentation. A realistic survival roguelike in constant development.

You mean GOG lowered their standards a bit more for nothing?

D;
I can't praise Lost in Vivo enough. It's a awesome indie horror game with lots of content. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend the short and free/PWYW Fragments of Euclid: https://nusan.itch.io/fragments-of-euclid

I downloaded it for free at first but I enjoyed it enough to come back and give him couple of quid. It's a nice take on the Portal style first person puzzle genre but with a big dose of M.C. Escher influence. There are portals, but the orientation of the portals is key. Unlike in Portal where gravity is a fixed thing, in this game you carry your personal concept of gravity with you. If you walk into a doorway that comes out upside down on the ceiling then the ceiling is now the floor and so on.
I really enjoyed it and I wish the developer had time to make this into a full commercial game.
