"We are pleased to announce the start of a partnership with GOG.com - the excellent service with
cheap, legal and DRM-free PC classics.

Since our goals are convergent with bringing old PC games into life, we agreed almost instantly when they
asked us about using nGlide in their releases.

Our partnership means several good things:

•more 3Dfx games in GOG.com catalog in the future,
•more 3Dfx games compatible with Windows XP or later,
•more 3Dfx games compatible with Glide Wrappers, thus with nGlide, so you can play them in HD.
... and that's not everything.

You can now support nGlide development with buying GOG.com games!
Just click the GOG.com banner in the top/bottom of this article or the GOG.com button at the main nGlide page.
http://www.zeus-software.com/downloads/nglide

You will be redirected to GOG.com. Register new account there and buy some games.
A share of the proceeds will be sent for nGlide development.
So, don't hesitate. Get some games and help nGlide last much longer!
Thank you in advance!"

This is awesome news; I already use nGlide to help play some games like MDK and Interstate '76.
This is new for me too! Excellent news indeed!
Does this affect any current games or just allow for more options? If the later, what games would benefit?

Edit: Found this list, looks to be very useful.

Screamer 2 and Screamer Rally!!!
Hohoo! Best news of the day! I would run a give-away to celebrate, if only I could afford that. Unfortunately, some guy named Tim Schafer made a number on my bank account recently. But yeah, good news anyway! :-D

Looking at the compatibility list for nGlide fills me with sweet nostalgia. Lookin' good. Very, very good.
Anything that increases the abiility for older games to be played again is great, but why would Diablo 2 need a wrapper, doesn't it work just fine without one?

Dreams to Reality, Sub Culture... Maybe there's a chance we'll get them eventually.
If they work together we will definetly see most of the titles on that list. And that sound as a good news to me
Why isn't this on the front page of GOG.com?! This is ground-breaking news!
Give them time.
Fantastic news

Hopefully this means more great games soon here on GOG

Especially ones like Carmageddon and Turok

Nglide doesn't own the licenses to those games do they? They just have a wrapper that allows for better game emulation in the case of 3DFX games.

Them showing up on GOG would still require the publishers go-ahead. Although yes, if some of the publishers currently signed had games that wouldn't work without this I'd imagine they'll start showing up.

So at the moment GOG uses Dosbox, ScummVM, NGlide at least to work their magic for us :)
Great news! Thanks for finding this, Phaidox :D
