Cyraxpt: Well, i'm still hopping that Ciris arranges that meeting with someone from gog so that we can discuss this and the other problems.
They'll probably recommend everyone that has issues with the forum to use Barefoot Essentials like they did the last time on a Q&A stream. ;)

Where was i when that Q&A occured??? I would lose it if i had to see that their solution for everything is community fixes and them not moving a finger.

It was last year and I don't think the whole stream is available anymore but here is the thread where IAmSinistar compiled the pertinent information from the Q&A.

EDIT: Well what do you know the stream is still archived on Twitch whereas I thought it only keeps past broadcasts for 60 days, here is the link.

This forum really isn't that great but I don't have huge problems with it either. I'd rather GOG spent a few days bringing back manual sorting for people frustrated by the lack of it. ;)
