eiii: I don't think the sale will start this night. I rather expect it to start tomorrow noon or afternoon European time.
avatar
ciemnogrodzianin: Exactly. I'd bet tomorrow noon.

Last year Weekly Sales were always started Monday moon and closed Monday afternoon (with a few hours of overlap). When there was no new Weekly Sale at noon, it was sure that something bigger will be started the same afternoon.

Now it's different. Weekly Sales are closed at midnight and it's quite impossible to start new big sale at European midnight, because of possible mistakes, performance issues etc. It would be reasonable to start it during polish office hours, 9 to 5, when whole GOG team is onboard and systems are fully supported.
But, but.... what will start at midnight? Another weekly sale?

Weekly Sales (and the late Weekly Staff Picks + Weekend Promos) do start at 11AM UTC, but big sales always begin at 2PM UTC, don't they?

tinyE: I have a new computer, I need new games.

And a cardboard box to live in after I run out of money buying all this crap. :P

DubConqueror: If you get homeless, maybe you could take a room in your own hotel, offer one to yourself for free ;-)
I'm sure he's got a broom closet he can stretch out in.

After the events of a few days ago I'm done talking about where I live. :P I'm not taking any more chances.

You guys think the sale will hit us today or later this week?

Edit: Nevermind, it'll probably start on Thursday.

I've been checking the store page for hours now...soon, hopefully

Later today. All promos are off, front page looks sad. They've put Witcher III regular-price offer in promo box to fill it somehow. It cannot last too long ;)

I insist: it will start at 2PM UTC, i.e. in less than 3 hours. :)
EA Origin started their Black Friday sales yesterday.

Steam store front does not have the Monday "100's of games on sale this week" sales box, and whenever that happens, you know that a big sale is coming on the Tuesday.

Nobody cares about Ubisoft Uplay, so we will skip that one...

If GOG sales don't start today, they are the only ones late to the party.

Could be the calm before the storm ... A Storm Sale maybe.

A hope something good washes up on these shores anyway (shutup wallet ... only speak when you are spoken to).

Onsdag: I hope it starts soon. I have three games in my shopping cart at Humble, but I'm waiting to see if (and at what prices) they go on sale here first.
Of course, you often get a GOG option at Humble, which you can take advantage of, if not on sale here. One presumes most notice or look out for the GOG (redeem) icon on their game pages ... rather than use the Steam one.
