Does it mean long expected Fall Sale party? :)
It's almost there!
Only 7 hours till (possible) fall sale...

Is anyone else expecting both gog and steam sale?

Unlikely, that means the GOG crew would have to stay in office past midnight to be around on standby in case things need to be done, the bugs that GOG is absolutely not famous for.

I don't know about GOG, but Steam will most likely start in about 48 hours from now. Three dates have been leaked some time ago, for the Steam Halloween-, Fall- and Winter-Sale. And the leaked date for the Halloween-Sale from the source was right...

Thank you, here's reputation point!
Well, the two current sales finish in just over 4 hours, according to the countdown i see.
So maybe a new sale will pop up after that.

I only joined in May, and the Sales have seemed continuous and many since then. So many I lost count.

My poor wallet .... 318 games and counting. :(
Getting close to a $1,000 AUD now.
I feel a New Year's Resolution coming on. ;)

P.S. A good number of those, were games I already owned a physical copy on disc of, and I have made a serious dent in the ones I wanted a DRM free updated variant of.

To make it 636 games by this time next year?

Hell no, I'd be selling myself short ... I only started in beginning of May ... so 4 months extra to account for ... one third of the year. I will let others check the maths, but it should be 795 at least (for a whole year).

Somehow i doubt I would aim so high. Is there even 795 other games I even like or like the idea of? Only 159 currently on my Wishlist, and many of those I probably don't really want to bother with unless dirt cheap.

However, I might aim for more bang for buck.
Currently things equate to roughly about $3 a game, which is probably the average I paid close to, with several over $20 and many below $5.

Or perhaps I will just disappear back to where I came from, happy with what I have obtained at great prices for the most part. I did stop buying and playing games (at least for myself) for over 10 years.

Anything could happen and likely will ... especially not sticking to any resolution I might foolishly make. ;)

yeah I noticed last night that both current sales on GOG ended at the same time, so thought that was a probability that a big sale was just around the corner.. guess we'll know in another 2 or so hours

hopefully more GOG Connect action!

I hope it starts soon. I have three games in my shopping cart at Humble, but I'm waiting to see if (and at what prices) they go on sale here first.

I don't think the sale will start this night. I rather expect it to start tomorrow noon or afternoon European time.

Exactly. I'd bet tomorrow noon.

Last year Weekly Sales were always started Monday moon and closed Monday afternoon (with a few hours of overlap). When there was no new Weekly Sale at noon, it was sure that something bigger will be started the same afternoon.

Now it's different. Weekly Sales are closed at midnight and it's quite impossible to start new big sale at European midnight, because of possible mistakes, performance issues etc. It would be reasonable to start it during polish office hours, 9 to 5, when whole GOG team is onboard and systems are fully supported.
I have a new computer, I need new games.

And a cardboard box to live in after I run out of money buying all this crap. :P

If you get homeless, maybe you could take a room in your own hotel, offer one to yourself for free ;-)
