It's not entirely unsolicited. He's near lynch and is making his claim - house + role. As it was discussed earlier people should consider doing so at L-2 if they are aware the are going to cross that threshold in order to give people time before the deadline or getting hammered by accident.

That said, i'd like to point out to you/all: Catte and dedo both ran over to pile on you(Blotunga) at near the last minute. Catte is on my suspects list along with NMillar, and dedo (for one thing) nitpicked my focusing on Lift not taking notes.

If Blotunga still gets lynched and flips town, I would look into Nmillar/Catte/Dedo a bit more.

If Blotunga flips scum then yay for us!

(I still would prefer an Nmillar lynch today, though...but will reluctantly vote for blotunga if[and only if] to avoid a nolynch)

I see you switched to him recently and said you prefer him over nmillar. Why is that?

People should not claim automatically just because tehre are artificially pushed to L-2. Only if it is apparent there is enough people to push them further. Because I saw games where people where pushing others to L-2 one by one only to get claims.
Some people disagree with this and even I got lynched over it in the past so it is not universal advice to take.

I get your reluctance but it is really useful. You can search thread for particular words or posts from single players or particular words from single player so if you feel like it give it a shot.

It might look last minute, but I said yesterday that I would vote for Blotunga (if nothing changed) and why, I just didn't place the actual vote until today (because nothing had changed).

I'll just answer both. I switched as my preferred wagon apparently won't happen. I prefer blotunga because I find him scummier. To be honest nmillar isn't really in my top picks, GH is in front of him.

Just wanted to state/muse/etc: I am actually one of the ones sometimes ok with pushing people to claim so we can get claims out of them...as it can very likely help town to find scum in some cases.

(Of course I admit there is the chance it can also out a town PR or some other town downside as well)

So blotunga and nmillar are at L-2. I am willing to vote either. I prefer blotunga, so that's where I stay for now. But, if I manage to get online before deadline, I am willing to hammer nmillar if necessary.

But I have to be offline for a few hours now. I'll try to get back before deadline, but please don't count on it.

I think I could seal the deal on nmillar by switching now, since that would tilt the tally by two (putting nmillar at L-1 and blotunga at L-3), but since I prefer blotunga, I also prefer to stay where I am. Also after my D1 blunder I'm a bit hesitant to put someone at L-1 just before I have to disappear due to RL.

Still, @nmillar, you may consider yourself at a virtual L-1. So if you feel like claiming, this would be the time to do so.

No, but as I told others....we need to get wagons built with enough time to spare so that claims can be made by the subjects of said wagons and we can change course if need be.

By prolonging that vote switching you/anyone who does it makes this harder to do.

I'm even willing to be the hammer on either wagon(Nmillar's is my top choice, but also Blotunga's if need be).

Jokes aside, I voted for NMillar early on.....I didn't wait until the last minute.....I even was one of the first to vote on D2(if not the first), and I have been pushing others to vote early so we can avoid rushed claims or losing a chance to change wagons if such is needed.

(That is all fwiw, of course.....people can and should vote for anyone even me if they suspect them)

What if Vitek and Catte or blotunga or whomever had switched to Lift? Why shouldn't I wait to see if my preference has a chance to pick off and just jump wagons as soon as there are a couple of votes on someone else? The way I see it is I gave people enough time to not opt for my wagon and moved to the second "best" option with still a couple of hours to work with.

One should wait a bit to see if their preferred wagon is viable, but (imo) if it gets to around 18 hours or so before deadline and it hasn't happened yet then it's (again imo) better to switch to another wagon one prefers or is ok with.

That way we can have time for people to claim, and also have enough time for people to switch votes if need be.

By you and Catte and others delaying your votes, it makes it harder to change course if we have to....get what i'm saying?

You have to remember: not everyone us in the same time zone and/or has IRL to deal with....it's often best to give above 12 hours at the very least, and maybe even 18 hours.
