Cavalary: The gamecard never claims it would be playable on Win 8.

jsjrodman: Should we expect games to not work on other versions? Planescape Torment says it works on OS X 10.7, which is retired already.

I would have assumed those are the versions that the game is known to work on, not the only versions it's expected to work on.
Since older games working on newer versions of operating systems is something GOG focuses on, or at least used to, you can generally expect that if it works on a particular version, it'll be listed. May not be in both places (works on and system requirements) as one or the other may not be updated, but if it's not in either, it's probably because they know it won't work. Version X or higher is one thing, but when it specifies versions X, Y, Z but version W isn't there, I'd expect it not to work on it, yes.

Except I just falsified that. Planescape Torment works on OS X 10.8, 10.9, 10.10. It only takes a trivial test to verify this. Personally I played significant portions of the game on all these versions.

Grargar: Minimum system requirements - Mac: OS X 10.7.0 or later

Essentially, GOG guarantees that the game should run on Mac OS X 10.7.0 or higher.
Dear, we are talking about:

Works on:
Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8), Mac OS X (10.7.0) and Linux (Ubuntu 14.04, Mint 17)

Meanwhile, if "or later" is accepted as part of the criteria, then it's certain that these criteria are not guaranteed (which was my point). Or will I have the right to complain when mac os x Goldilocks in the year 2050 doesn't run this game?

And I'm talking about the minimum system requirements. Or do those not count?

Minimum system requirements - Windows: Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8
Minimum system requirements - Mac: OS X 10.7.0 or later
Minimum system requirements - Linux: OS: Ubuntu 14.04 / Linux Mint 17

There might be some games that specifically mention that they might not run on a newer version of Mac OS X, like Evil Genius that isn't compatible with Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite).

So if we're done deliberately misunderstanding one another, the original request for "this game won't work on this version" still stands.

Crusaders of Might and Magic is missing its manual.

There is a playstation manual, which contains the story, spells and weapons... etc, so is useful even to PC users here:

I should also point out that "The Escapists" is broken. Which is a shame (it's a great game).
Updated... after 18 months. I wonder if it matters anymore, but a lot of this stuff still doesn't seem to be fixed, so I leave it here.

Thanks a lot for the update gamebin!

By the way, you should delete '(No longer in catalogue)' from the Fallout entry.

Thanks for letting me know. I am sure there are other mistakes. I am slowly making my way through all 833 forums to find things to add. I also added the other thread that has missing expansions and definitive editions as a link. At least, somebody will keep up with some f it. It looks like the other thread hasn't been updated since May. Honestly, it takes a lot of time to update these items.

Please check this thread! Well, that one is also not updated very frequently... :)

Yes, I have looked through that thread. I haven't added everything from it to this one because it has some inaccuracies as well, and I just haven't gotten around to it. I still haven't parsed and examined one of your entire posts yet. :-)
Added Darksiders II because it's busted to all hell. I am still sifting through items for a larger update again.

Hi gamebin, good to see you back-

something to add: archimedean dynasty/schleichfahrt misses the manuals (englisch, german, french) & bonus material https://www.gog.com/forum/archimedean_dynasty/manuals
