2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

Lucian_Galca: Still doing this in the new version guys:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_galaxy_official_discussion_thread/post649
Did you fill up a mantis report about it?
avatar
phqueue: Tried both temporarily deactivating the antivirus service and bypassing the firewall (via "exposed host", the firewall itself cannot be deactivated) but to no avail. The store and the library are still messed up formatting-wise.

Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.
Of course it's not the only host you need to allow for it to work. Something is blocking downloading CSS and JS from one of the static servers while allowing other gog.com calls. Maybe you can whitelist everything *.gog.com ?

Hi,

I just wanted to say we're looking into the update issues right now. We're not exactly sure what's going on, but we're investigating multiple avenues. We'll get back to you soon :)

I've reported and updated the ticket a few times already here: http://mantis.gog.com/view.php?id=5262

I'll create a new ticket.

At least it's a known issue, I believe this started 2-3 days ago, I'm using 1.2.29 beta at the moment.

Nope, still no luck.
I could extract nearly two dozen urls with "gog" in it from a log of the client's calls, maybe I'm still missing that crucial one? Pretty sure I whitelisted every url in different variations (with and without "https://" or "http://") as well.

I guess it's not possible to get those missing .css and .js files any other way? If they're static (which afaik they usually are) it should be enough to just put them in the right place (the "styles" resp. "scripts" subfolders in the "web" folder)?
I'd just need a functioning library resp. game card for accessing and downloading a beta build anyway.

Thanks as always for your hard work, not really a big issue since we still can play our games through Galaxy, but good to know you guys are working on it.
So, i just had my first crash on this game and its making me feel like my opponent made me crash.
Now, the main reason why i belive this is because of the way my opponent reacted to a combo that they've not seen before by hovering over the cards (combo being Kaedweni Siege Support into King Henselt). Also, I just want to make it clear now that because of the crash i wasn't able to send the crash report and thats why im posting this on here. I did manage to jot down my opponents account name which im still not sure if i should post on here.

If it's there and acknowledged, please don't create a new ticket. :) Thank you for creating the original one.

FWIW, I just setup a brand new pc build yesterday, windows 10. Downloaded Galaxy client. Got the failed update notification popup the very first time I ran the client. Haven't even had time to do much system configuring yet so it's a pretty vanilla win10 setup.

For a short time 1.2.29 full reinstall worked for 3 normal launches.... then i had to launch as admin to nto get the update issue... that worked for 8 launches... now no matter how i launch i get the update error.

Where's the documentation for the GOG Galaxy launcher options:

I've seen a protocol goggalaxy://

also some options

/gameId
/command
/path
After the last windows 10 update (v.1709), Galaxy managed to auto start at system boot. Before this update, it doesn't even start in the background because I edited msconfig.

I really hate such penetrating, importunate, invasive, obstrusive or what ever is the correct english term, pieces of software. I uninstalled Galaxy, even therefore I cannot play gwent anymore.

GOG looks like a really customer friendly company, but Galaxy destroys this impression effectively.

Restarting applications which were running before shutdown is a new feature in Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update (v. 1709), as explained in this thread by a Support Engineer from Microsoft.

We'll be looking into this issue soon.

Until then closing the application before rebooting or shutting the computer down should help, which I know is not ideal.
