2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

I still have the problem that I am getting error messages(freezes from games (application has stopped working) whenever I quit them. Does not happen with all games and it ONLY happens when the overlay is turned on. I tried to reinstall Galaxy multiple times - support could not help me either. Any ideas what I could try?

wintermute.: ...I have the option to either use google chrome, which is a privacy issue as well as google going to heavy hand the adblocker question in the near future or FF with Quantum engine which is notoric for clusterfucks like the certificate fuckup lately and ignoring the community or some other browser you will tell us which isn't supported.
I am using Waterfox (which is a FF fork pre Quantum) and it works well with the site. Maybe that is an alternative?

I have the same issue with a couple of games, I wasn't able to find any permanent solution.
I created a mantis report about it, I left it here in case it has some interest to you (http://mantis.gog.com/view.php?id=5972)

Hey,

we have released GOG Galaxy 1.2.57.

It includes small changes to flow when paying with PayPal, so don't be surprised and a couple of bugfixes.
All of those can be found in the changelog.

Enjoy

For me update is stuck at 2.4% and doesn't want to go further, after few tries.

Also, Galaxy is connecting and disconnecting since few days without reason from my side.
Sometimes www.GOG.com doesn't work either when other sites works without problems.
Maybe someone is DDoS'ing GOG servers.

I Reinstalled Galaxy and can't connect to my account at this moment.

Regards.

Edit: It works now. Galaxy was updated and connected with my account.

Thank you and yes, it is Interesting. Apparently you also use Win7/64. Maybe the reason GOG is unable to reproduce the issue (they could not when I contacted them months ago) is because they don't use Win7 anymore?
I'm new to the forums, hey folks!

Sorry to be a pain in the backside, but I signed up to the galaxy 2.0 beta - I unfortunately stupidly may have possibly deleted my email that gives me access to it. I don't know but gog mails tend to go straight to my spam folder and one day i blindly just deleted everything in there without checking.

Is there any way, assuming i did get an email regarding 2.0 I could have it resent to me?

thanks in advance,

Hey,

you have nothing to worry. We haven't started sending emails with access to 2.0 yet - that will be done in near future, stay tuned :)

I can guess it will be on Summer Sale Final Day, or the next day right after that.
GOG knows well when is the best time to add some fuel to the furnace ;)

Welcome to the community!
hi, i'm new to GOG.com, i've just bought all the wing commanders as i liked playing them a very long time ago and some now are not really playable with pc's these days a dos is older than me...probably not lol... when downloading i've noticed the speed is less than 1MB is that normal for a noob to GOG.com?
Hello everyone,
I'm new to GOG and to PC gaming in general (I've been a console gamer forever though, and I'm still into retrogaming, on there). :)

I'm looking for basic tips/suggestions for configuring and playing my classic game at their best. Hopefully this is the right place to ask.

My setup:
- MSI GS63 Stealth 8RE gaming laptop (i7, 16GB, GTX1060 6GB)
- AOC 1080p 144hz 25" monitor
- Xbox One controller
- Windows 10 Home Edition

So far I got:
- Unreal Gold (runs pretty great out of the box: 1080p, 60fps, 16:9 in Direct3D mode... Controller support seems broken, as it makes the camera to spin around like crazy)
- Screamer (once again, seems pretty perfect with its default settings... I'm noticing a bit of screen tearing, but I'm wondering if it's actually supposed to be there. No way to set up any joystick/pad, unfortunately)
- World Rally Fever (even better, it even recognizes my controller... No digital pad support, but at least the game is fully playable)

I'm a bit lost in graphics settings/video options... The games seem to be running fine in full screen, with their default settings, but I'm wondering if I can do better, by tinkering around a bit.
Also, I'd like to know if there's an easy way to configure my controller for all games, so I can map the keyboard inputs on it.

Thanks alot in advance!

Checkout via Smartphone

I'm not able to delete games from my checkout basket if I change my mind. So OLD games hang around when I want to start afresh.

Any solution?
@GOG
How is this STILL a problem?! https://www.gog.com/forum/mount_blade_series/mount_blade_warband_serial_key/post6

Galdelico: - Unreal Gold
The unofficial patch did wonders to that game but without remaking it you cannot make a twenty year old game look like one from the last three years. There is a thread in the game series' subforum about it: https://www.gog.com/forum/unreal_series

roverboy1971:
The dos games run fine in DOSBox or similar but GOG has wrapped that into a nice package for you so do not need to download DOSBox yourself.
No, 1Mbit/s is slooooow and not normal.
