2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

My GOG Galaxy Client keeps losing connection and the button to reconnect does not seem to function.
The only solution I have is to quit the launcher and restart it every time.
I'm not sure what is causing this as my internet connection is persistent and it happens every time it's left minimized or out of focus for a period of time.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!!
I'm clicking the Galaxy shortcut in my desktop and it doesn't launch. It was working just fine yesterday but now it doesn't launch. It's the 1.2.51 release I have currently installed.

I have to agree with the user above, GOG is going downhill and Galaxy is complete shit performance wise with every release. They should re-release the game downloader again and get rid of Galaxy completely. I have reported a few bugs I found some time ago, but I've never received any reply from them.
Are there any plans to show user tags for installed games in the client rather than relegating them to the web browser?
We are due for a decent update, I hope early next year we get one. I hope they didn't give up on galaxy, its been a while since a meaningful update released.

Johny.: Time will tell. :P

We're still working hard. :)
Well we are only a few days away now, so at this point I'm just going to assume yea were going to end 2018 without a major Galaxy update. :P
Are there any plans to play the previews in fullscreen in the client? Doesn't like switching to the browser.... thx.
už vše funguje měli výpadek

Does anyone else's Galaxy take something like 5 minutes to update? Every time I see "Updating..." when I open Galaxy, I go grab a cup of coffee and read the news because I know it will be at least a few minutes before the actual client is updated and finally opens. This does not happen with other clients (Steam, Origin, etc.), nor is it a problem with my internet speed (25Mb). Is this normal or should I be doing something about it?
Why are there always missing game icons when starting GOG Galaxy?

Not sure, sometimes it does that and sometimes they appear. I wonder if it is a loading issue or maybe closing galaxy on certain situations.

So far I have/had no problems with Galaxy, other then it takes quite some time to load, but there's one thing that really bothers me:

At which time did the tiles at the start page changed to video preview only?? I would really like to get some simple info about the games by just hovering the mouse pointer above it, like what kind of game it is. With today's number of indie games and new releases it is really hard to keep track and you just can't know each game by name only. I don't want to klick on it and load the game page to find out. Steam does it perfectly and as far as I remember, it was that way on GoG as well.

Please, keep the video previews, they're okay - but offer quick info on mouse hovering as well. This back and forth to just get some simple info is driving me crazy! Thanks :-)

Yea! They haven't fixed that problem for years. It's just a nuisance but a very irritating one. If Galaxy really want to take itself serious they really need to squash that bug.

powergod: I have an issue that happens sometime and that was already present even in the past versions, and I'm pretty sure that acts always in the same way:

the thumbnails of "Duke Nukem - Manhattan Project", "Balls of Steel" and "Duke Nukem 3D" always disappears from my list of installed games...

If I click on them, the thumbnail is reloaded and stays there for some days... but at some point I open Galaxy, and those 3 thumbnails are disappeared...

No other game has this issue... seems like Galaxy doesn't like the Duke ?! O_o

Wolfy777: Sorry, but I had to chuckle at the last line. XD
No, Galaxy doesn't hate specific games.

I get the same glitch every now and then with random games.
I wouldn't go as far as to call it an issue as nothing suffers performance-wise, plus the thumbnails always reappear after I click on them. :)
Happened again, still for "Duke Nukem - Manhattan Project" and "Duke Nukem 3D", no other games seems affected on my end
I've no idea what the last update did, but Galaxy is now utterly worthless for me. I usually download using the backup option, rather than install, though every download fails now and doesn't even get started.

Back to downloading everything through my browser again.
omg you still have not fixed that your downloads extracts to the system temp folder, and then unpacks to the install folder. It's been like 5 years now? How long does it take? Stop killing peoples ssd's.

Just install directly to the chosen folder, like steam does. You try so hard to be steam, do so.
