Why can't i sort games as a list anymore? I don't want to browse games with big icons. This is totally uncalled for!
Soooo - I originally came to GOG to play nice old games without all the fucking datamining and buyers manuipulation the modern games-industry has.
I just wanna play games, not join some stupid community or publicise how much I played which game.

a
And now GOG UNILATERALLY makes the games i already bought dependent on this slow, buggy, fucking unneccessary data-mining tool?

No, I object.

Either a can continue using the games i paid money for without this tool,
Or I want my money back if the only way to use a product that already belongs to me is by giving up further autonomy.

I want a simple .exe and no communication with your server beyond download.

Is there a featurepossibility for this, or do i neet to sue you for breaking our original contract and taking away my already bought product?
Why there is pop ups appearing and disappearing whenever I move the mouse?
Great trick if you are trying to impress time-travelers from 2002.
Not so much if you need to actually use the pages.
I had to replace my HDD and just reinstalled GOG Galaxy. Now I cannot install any games. I keep getting a "configuration error". Anyone have a fix for this? Everything worked just fine before I my old HDD crashed.
Galaxy fails to install. Code 704. can't download or play anything tie to the garbage.
It just updated to the version 1.2.47. What are the changes?
Hey, hope everyone's going alright.

While some of us probably can't wait for Thronebreaker release, today's release is not mainly about that.

Other than few fixes and improvements, this update brings plenty of bugfixes to the Overlay on Windows.
Thanks to that, we'll be able to enable it in even more games than now (ones from changelog after release and more to come later).

There is a changelog button in the client, under the GOG COM logo... I know it pretty hidden but still.

You guys put Civ 5 in the changelog, I think you meant 4 unless you are trying to tell us Civ 5 is on the way.

Hey, you're right. It should have been dx 10. Still overlay will be enabled soonish.

And did you mean Civ 4 instead of 5?

EDIT: Looks like you took that out. Erm, me thinks somebody messed up.

It would be nice if they release the freaking complete edition here, the bastards blocked that package from purchase in my country at Steam, so they want me to buy DLC individually, hell no. Sorry for the offtopic.

I have been bothered by an issue since Galaxy released.

Whenever I click to see a game's changelog and hover the text box with my mouse, the text inside becomes temporarily blurry and if I take my mouse pointer out of the box, it again, becomes temporarily blurry. Now if I move my mouse in and out it just becomes a blurr fest.

Instead of filling a bug report I silently waited thinking this would be fixed eventually but now I am suspecting that not many people have this issue and thus it has never gotten attention.

EDIT: I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS, I DOWNLOADED THE LAST BETA AND IT FIXED THIS ISSUE.
I am very happy, been waiting since the beggining for this and I always had betas enabled. Thanks for fixing it GOG devs.

wthennetd: thanks for fix the problem with news and Now on sale sections...
I've still got the problem. I'm still not seeing the Now on Sale or the News sections. It's still got the blinking effect. I press the buttons to slide to the left and right, I see the icons for a brief moment, then they disappear. I can see the edges of a couple on the left side. It didn't get solved on my end, and I have the latest update (not beta).

I have exactly the same issue. This happens with both web page and Galaxy. I have three computers. At least one of the computers can show Now on Sale and the News section correctly only on the GOG web page. Even on this computer the galaxy has a problem. This means that not all the computers are affected. For GOG galaxy, both Now on Sale and the News sections behave normal once I extend the galaxy to the full screen by clicking at the right top end corner of the galaxy. This might give some hint about how to solve this issue.
