Please use: http://mantis.gog.com and include
1. steps to reproduce the bug (if possible)
2. screenshot or movie showing the bug (if possible)
3. Galaxy Client logs (see below)

Where can I find Galaxy logs on my computer?
On Windows 7 or later: C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\Logs
On Mac OS X: /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/Logs

== FEATURE SUGGESTIONS ==

Please use: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy. For feature suggestions and votes on them please try do explain how Galaxy and its users will really benefit from it.

== IMPORT ALREADY INSTALLED GAMES TO GALAXY ==

1. For GOG games installed using installers from the last few months (so called Galaxy-compatible installers)
Click the Galaxy logo button on top of the sidebar and select "scan and import folders" - it will find all compatible games within that folder and add them to the Client.

2. For remaining GOG game INSTALLATIONS
Find the game in the Library (click on the image of the game), then click the More button and select "Manage Installation" -> "Import folder" and point the folder selector into the folder where that game is installed.

== KNOWN ISSUES ==
- throttling max download speed is not yet possible
- notifications related to incoming chat messages and friend requests does not always disappear instantly when consumed and may require reloading Store page
- games imported from existing installations will auto-update once, even if updating is disabled
- Moving Galaxy from /Applications on Mac OS X will stop the app from working
- Galaxy cannot be launched by other users on the same computer

For everyone who has a problem with missing api-ms-crt dlls in Client's versions post 1.1.5:
Please install one of those windows update: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3118401
You may need to update Windows to meet the requirements for these:
For Windows 8.1 and for Windows Server 2012: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2919355
For Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/976932

You can also try reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables 2015 (x86) if you meet above requirements.
Available here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

If above instructions doesn't work for you, create a separate issue on mantis.gog.com and we'll try to help you individually.

Please note that this solution only helps with the missing api-ms-crt dlls.

Answering this question: Why 1.1 doesn't work after updating to 1.2?

This is happening probably due to incompatible database from version 1.2, please delete this folder:
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage
usually
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\storage\

Then you'll have to use scan&import (menu under the top Galaxy logo) function to see your games back in Galaxy Client.

I will never, ever, use Galaxy. I came to GOG early on to get away from online clients like Steam and lookie here we now have GoG ramping up their own. It's NOT needed and certainly not wanted by me. Stop pouring money into development of this nonsense and use that cash to entice more dev's to put their games here. But wait, let me guess...those dev's WANT the client requirement because it cuts down some on piracy. Frankly, I think the entire Galaxy thing is a big screw you to the people that adopted you early on and helped you succeed all under the guise of this wonderfully ease to use client to manage your games and keep them easily updated!!!! Total bull. Their IS an agenda behind it.

I just want to download the games I purchase and play them. I don't want anything "helping" manage my titles.

You people better wake up because eventually this WILL replace being able to download your games and it will be required to install from galaxy. It may still be DRM-free but having a required client is not even close to what I want or will use.

And achievements? Really? WHO CARES. They are virtual rewards that literally LITERALLY mean nothing.

Again, stop wasting time and money on this. The premise of your business was great. Now you are getting mired in profiles and online play and achievements. That is NOT what this site was founded on. At all.

And where did you read that the GOG Galaxy is required? :)
You don't want to use it, that's fine, you're still able to download games from the website as always.

I think you are confusing the replacement of the downloader with the removal of web links. Galaxy only replaces the downloader. I can still, very easily, click web links to download via HTTP.

I do. Love them, and tend to play the version that supports them over the version that doesn't. Not only do we all have different opinions, but our opinions change over time. (as did mine). So I'm thankful GOG is thinking about all of us rather than some of us. If they tailored to one opinion, where would be when that changed?

Client will help to get some publishers over to GOG.

Multiplayer games will be possible on galaxy.

Atm client isn't required in any way, of course only for those "useless" things you have listed.

Who knows maybe someday we will be forced to use Galaxy, but it's illogical. Why? Simple, if devs already agreed to let their games to be sold on GOG without galaxy restriction, then why would they change it? For new and coming titles, maybe, but most likely only for MP based games.

All of your comments are safely ignored as it is obvious that you just have personal assumptions about what Galaxy actually is and have not actually researched all of the facts. You're biased by your experience with other game distributor's clients and while it's a starting point basing thoughts on past experiences with similar software, without truly putting aside bias and investigating the facts with an open mind to seek out information and truth it ends up just turning into a burn the witch hunt.

GOG is creating Galaxy because not only do more people _actually_ care to have a gaming client than not, they also care to provide their customers what they want to have. Since it is completely optional and has absolutely nothing to do with DRM or preventing piracy whatsoever, as has been said 10 million times in the forums for close to two years now to people who make assumptions before researching their facts - you don't ever have to use it now or ever.

GOG isn't going to cancel a major project that the majority of not only their existing userbase does want, but that the majority of gamers that are not yet their customers also want - just because one person who doesn't even have a clue what Galaxy actually is bitches about it in the forums.

If you don't like it, then don't use it, or do whatever else you need to do to turn that frown upside down. Leave and never shop here again if that's what it takes, nobody will give a crap.
Shadow warrior 2013 (directx 11 version) and The Wolf among Us play time is not updated. Is this bug or not?
Race Driver:GRID will not launch through Galaxy.

I spent the time trying to remedy and found the solution within the Galaxy Support option for the game.

However the only way the game will launch is to create a desktop icon.
Hadn't checked this in a while and good thing i did. Had no idea of the issue with those 2 galaxy folders eating up disk space (6GB for me). Not looking forward to running galaxy again untill this is fixed, or at least minimized.

Could you report that on Mantis? This will help us greatly to track issues, thank you!

We're working on that, should be solved in one of upcoming updates.

Can you try reinstalling from the latest installer available at https://gog.com/galaxy
Is there any update about in-game overlay? Because there is active check box available in Settings screen. I don't remember if it's already been active before latest 1.0.5.11 update. If so which button combination is activating it?
